And I'm not sure why everyone is so focused on the "leader" title. Even with Cap and Ironman, it wasn't like there was a clear cut hierarchy. People looked to and respected Cap, and he was kind of the default guy everyone looked to, but it wasn't like there was a general and soldier relationship between him and everyone else. People had their own ideas and strong points.

your right no one had a name badge with manager on it but there is always a hierarchy sometimes pointed out sometimes not

your never gonna see any of the warriors three getting center billing on a poster in front of Thor

Steve and Tony has that place in the first 3 phases of the MCU as a whole

i dont think BP is the right pick for that spot neither is Captain Marvel but unfortunately (for me at least) they look to be the front runners to fill that spot unless they introduce some new blood

Ah. I see.

Black Panther, the character, can still be good imo. They need to get him the ebony blade though. And I'd really prefer it if he got his cape. Thor and Vision have capes, so it wouldn't look out of place imo. But he really needs that sword.

He's just so bland right now.

i feel the same but for a different reason in combat he is awesome its once the mask comes off that i fall asleep

Tell me this Blacl Panther isn't cooler.
all i see from those panels

I honestly dont think they would try to do that. I don't see any indication that they're trying to carry on with another new Avengers team anytime soon.
They dont have any movies in the works.
Captain Marvel definitely isn't the right pick, and it looks like they want her doing space stuff. And BP right now isn't, but I could see him being a bigger player with more development down the road.
But I dont think anyone is going to really take over as leader. If anything happens, itll be a team effort with everyone putting in their 2 cents, I imagine.

i dont expect we will see an avengers film for at least 5 years until we catch up with the timeline so we will have time

hopefully they continue the Thor Ragnarok method of having a few characters in each movie outside of origins

i read somewhere we get the schedule for the next few years at Comic con dont we?

Yea, I think 5 years is a safe guess. But by that time the Xmen and Fantastic 4 movies should be making their way over.
But hopefully they just keep doing little cameos here and there to keep their faces in our minds.

Not sure on the official schedule release, but I feel like we know pretty much what's in the works for the next few years...Eternals, BP2 , Dr Strange 2, Cap Marvel 2, and GoTg 3. All of those can and probably will go in wildly different directions

In terms of future plotlines I wonder whether Thaddeus Ross might end up as a major character? maybe becomes US president on the back of negative reaction to "the snap" with an anti "enhanced/mutant" policy?
Now its only 23m (629-652).

TFA did 28m on its 13 day, Endgame only 8, once todays numbers are added (thursday being the last day the holiday effectivele helped TFA gross) they should be some 10m apart.

Again a bit of a difference, TFA was released for the christmas holidays which will result in bigger weekday takings but smaller weekend takings. I suspect Enggame will end up with $8xx million.

Honestly though in terms of quality EG/IW are the only films in the top 6 of world wide takings that are anygood IMHO.

I get that it's done in the comics, but it just feels like a galactic traveling ship, especially one owned by Thanos shouldn't be so easily destroyed. Just seemed like too cheap a move considering how much firepower it was dishing out.
And I forget, but didnt she do that move in her movie too?

I think Hulk should have had her part in the final battle. He didnt have to win. It would've actually been fitting to see Thanos using the power stone to KO Hulk again.
Or at least show Hulk wrecking random soldiers or members of the Black Order. I didnt need to see him get revenge, but just do something. He was way too tame.
Yeah I get it. It's more a testament to the level of power someone like hulk, thor, or marvel has. MOST people in the marvel universe couldn't smash through one of those ships.

Not sure what happens in her movie. Havent seen it.

Shang Chi and Black Widow too.

This was probably the same reason Hulk was powered down as well.

If I were to have had it my way, I think Iron Man and Cap should've just took on Thanos by themselves, so Thor wouldn't had been powered down. Let Thor and Hulk take care of a separate thing. Or Maybe Thor, Cap and IM should've taken on Thanos and the Black Order 3 on 5.

One likely reason for so many plotholes and timelines was the Russos had to set up all the Disney+ shows and future movies by misaligning timelines and creating alternate universes.

Again I suspect you might see two plots this time, one based on earth and another in space with the Guardians, Thor and Captain Marvel, maybe coming together at some point much further down the line?

To me it seems like Marvel is taking the view in the short term to play on the aftermath of IW/EG dramatically, the Spiderman trailer certainty hints at it and the nature of the Black Widow film does as well. I can see the sense in that personally, Marvel didn't take the cheap route and damage the climax to the Avengers plot by filling it with setup for their next phase but they are probably waring of introducing too much that's totally new now for fear viewers might well its time to get off the bus. Playing on the drama of the Avengers plot for another year or so is a good way to avoid that.

The act that show Steve Rogers he is captain America worthy Imo came before he got the super soldier serum when a fake grenade was thrown at the a group of people and he jumped on it trying to save everyone knowing it'd kill him in the process. I think the scene shows that heroism isn't defined by power alone.

I think they did a good job keeping Strange busy as well. He was doing just fine against Thanos in Infinity War till Thanos used 3 different stones to get the upper hand. Fighting Thanos without stones should be kind of easy for Strange

Yeah that Final Battle Strange was just just floating around without being threatened at all. He stopped the river or whatever from flooding the battlefield then just biding his time to let Tony know, if anything he knew his place and was carefully making sure nothing he did changed his desired outcome

If they put together a Thunderbolts movie he'd definitely be in it.
