What? Jokes fell flat?

You mean when Cap said Hail Hydra in the elevator that didn’t get you? Guess you’re not a comic book fan but this was a very sweet send off for us who know the inside jokes of the comic books.

My theater was animated. Lots of laughs and quiet as shit with some sniffling when people died.
Yep, literally everything, maybe my whole theatre read the sherdog reviews. The whole time travel thing, with Ant Man, and his whole suit shitting/pissing thing and hulk joking about what’s going on? No one wanting Ant Mans pics, Thor?
Maybe we’re square, the one joke that clicked was when Cap kicked his own ass and said yep, that’s America’s ass
Hulk stairs? Ridiculous. Thor? Bah!!!

Dying, when Peter was chatting with tony, not
pepper! They have the the best chemistry.
Again, every theatre will differ

I just wanna get something off my chest.

I’ve heard sjws are upset over Captain Marvels screen time in this movie.

Fuck off. She’s a newcomer to the MCU and got something like 15 minutes of screen time (this shouldn’t count as a spoiler imo)

My favorite character Buck who has been around since Cap 1, has gotten like 3 COMBINED total minutes of screen time in Infinity war and End game so I don’t wanna hear that shit/rant

However, I have to imagine Gamorra would be conspicuously rooted to the "main" timeline. The original speculation was that Adam Warlock would somehow bring her back, and now it's up for debate whether 2014 Gamorra survived the Starkening -- but @Magooglie has a more compelling idea upthread.

Which idea, the synthetic soul stone one? I think Adam Warlock is going to compete with Quill for Gamora's affections.

Best one yet. Great action, some huge mark out moments and a lot more emotional then expected. Really well done. This movie will destroy all financial records.

I might go see it again. I watched Infinity War twice in theaters. Still kind of buzzing since few chapters got closed.

We're kind of coming from the same place on this one but I have to admit that it's an old fashioned notion. While I still harbor the notion that bringing up these kinds of details USED to have a major impact on story -- like the movie is making a statement -- such is no longer the case. The current trend is not making a point about this or that type of person -- but rather that "that type" of person should be represented on film because there should be no distinctions made between "this" or "that." We're all just people, and as such we crave seeing some semblance of ourselves onscreen. While it's okay to feel like, "Well, that's not ME on the screen," but I'm not sure that the idea of "woke points" scores anything except on the humor scale.

I would say the opposite personally, the current trend is absolutely to emphasize as much as possible that "this type of person" is being featured. Again I think its very much a reflection of the way the political/media establishment has shifted in recent years, tokenism really has come to the fore as arguably the main focus of a lot of it, the idea that representation of a small number of individuals is the measurement of societies success as a whole on tackling equality.

In cinema I think its absolutely been a regression to a much simplistic position, I mean I think you've had a general drive towards greater representation going back decades and generally tied to that a focus on the characters featured actually having some substance to them. These days though it seems that representation is linked to "power", a character having a compelling story to tell isn't of much worth in a lot of the medias eyes, rather the degree of representational success is measured by that characters prowess.

You mean to tell me in the 14 million scenarios. Only one of them has Iron Man sacrificing himself ??? Suuuure.

It was really just Doctor Strange's revenge plan. I think he could have totally saved Tony's life.

If sjws complain about THIS movie, they are officially done. Laughed out of the building. No longer relevant in the least. The media shilling for them will mean nothing, the corporate news attempt tk normalize their crazy narratives, and everything associated with the new-media far left is over, and just waiting for the death blow from the cast vast majority who realize it's comical, obsolete nature.

This movie was good, is praised as good, but is sjw heaven on multiple levels... Or maybe it isn't and I just made that up, so go see it. I'll tell the truth about it in about a week or so.

I liked it better than IW, I believe.

I was disappointed that Hulk didn't go on a rampage but he did bring everything back to normal so it's not like he didn't make an impact.

Just finished. Holy fucking shit! My whole family is emotionally spent. My youngest daughter sobbed uncontrollably when Spiderman came back to life. That was a fitting send off for Chris Evans and RDJ. I'm gonna go see it again sometime this week. Easily a 9.5/10. IW was a 10/10.

My feeling is that the Loki and Gamora loose ends are the springboards for the new phase of Marvel movies. Had a feeling they were gonna go the comic route and have Falcon take the mantle of CA. Had a feeling Old Man Steve was gonna pop up in the end. The fact the Black Widow movie will be set in 2006 leaves me feeling bittersweet about it. AsGaurdians of the Galaxy will be a hit.

All I wanna know is if Steve leaves Mjolnir back on Asgard when he returns the Infinity Stones back to their timelines?

Yeah, he brings Mjolnir back.

I dont care for SJWs, but Captain Marvel is bullshit. Shes a deus ex machina. Popping up when the writers need to get out of a corner.

Wasn't bullshit when Thanos pimp handed her with the Power Stone.
