AVENGERS: ENDGAME (Dragonlord's Review)

Spider-Man coming back was enough for me to audibly “Fuck yeah” in the finale, and even some surprises like Ironheart outta fucking nowhere. I don’t give a flying fuck if you didn’t like it you muppet.

Yeah.. Because it's been forever since we've seen spider-man, and we had no clue he was going to survive and be in another movie.

Powered down? I thought he was powered up. He manhandled Thor, Cap and Iron Man and both Mljonir and Stormbreaker without the stones. Just the fact that he easily bested Thor with stormbreaker (built to beat Thanos with one or two stones) makes him powered up from infinity war. Granted he was losing a bit to Captain Marvel but we do not know what happened to her from origin story to present and she does wield cosmic powers from the Tesseract so logically it makes sense.

What pissed me off is Hulk should have been in the mix of that battle. I am still very buttsore over that...

Right.. Did he even get one hit in?

This is one of the biggest plot holes. Half of the universe is 5 years older...

I don’t know how it was in your guys theater, but nobody and I mean nobody cheered when Captain Marvel came to the rescue st the end.

But when Captain America gets the Mjolnir....the crowd went wild lol

On second viewing it's pretty clear Bucky was in on Steve Rogers staying in the past. Their exchange was a clear goodbye.

2 straight nights and both packed crowds didn't react to the Girl power scene. 1st Night was more of a younger crowd . Today surprisingly more families in the screen I was at.

Cap being Worthy got the loudest applause both times .

AVENGERS: ENDGAME with Record-Breaking $140 Million Friday Showing, Headed for $300 Million-Plus Opening Weekend

In an unprecedented feat, Disney and Marvel's Avengers: Endgame is headed for a staggering $300 million-plus North American debut, according to early Friday matinees.

Friday's haul alone is an estimated $140 million. That includes $60 million in Thursday previews. Both are records.

No film in history has crossed the $300 million threshold in its domestic debut.

Overseas, Avengers: Endgame also continues to shatter records since beginning to roll out on Wednesday. Its two-day gross is a massive $305 million, including a hefty chunk from China, for an early worldwide total of $365 million before the weekend even began.

Directed by the Russo brothers, who shot the movie back-to-back with last year's Infinity War, Endgame is now on course for a global launch of $950 million, if not $1 billion.

Infinity War is the current record holder for biggest global opening ($640.5 million) and biggest domestic launch ($257.6 million), not adjusted for inflation. (Infinity War earned $38 million in domestic previews.)

In terms of biggest single day, that crown belonged to Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($119 million) before Endgame. Force Awakens also boasted the biggest preview gross ($57 million) until now.

Internationally, Endgame set opening day records in numerous markets, such as in China, where it grossed $107.5 million on Wednesday (through Thursday, that gross grew to $154.5 million).

I too thought the girl power sequence was corny as hell, but god damn!! Valkyrie on her Pegasus was worth it.

Althgough I still have annoyance with certain choices they made and after two viewings IW is the tighter smoother Movie to me. This Movie presented a Holy Shit we've reached the end feel , this is the Epitome of an Event Movie done right .
