I'm always appreciative of Dragonlord's updates. He's great at giving us the info.

But, I don't care about Kang. One more time of shitting on source material for......reasons. No thank you.

Is that what Secret Invasion leads to with Skrulls or Beyonder?
Secret Invasion = Skrulls
Secret Wars = Beyonder

Also, it stupid to announce a Secret Invasion movie. That should have been revealed in an actual movie AND then a movie about it announced.
Its like M. Night Shamalan announcing: ""Bruce Willis Already Dead" starring Haley Joel Osmet and Bruce Willis hitting theaters Summer 1999"

And another thing

The Thunderbolts are supposed to be the filling the void of The Avengers? Hawkeye would solo that entire lineup?
And Coogler in talks to direct a non-BP movie better mean 1. BP2 is actually good and/or 2. The MCU is just polite.

I had no idea they were doing Secret Wars. Holy shit that is a throwback...nice!

They are more likely to do the most recent version of Secret Wars with Dr. Doom and Battle Planet.

@Dragonlordxxxxx I’m more partial to Avingers myself. Avongers are a bunch of hipsters.

The girl who plays blonk widow is so hot.

Sorry I just can't stop thinking of bad Asian market rip off toys called these things haha

Laaaaaame. I hope that is not the case...the original was fun

No Dr Doom? I don't even know what's going on anymore in the MCU, only thing I watched recently from them was that new Spider-Man and Hawkeye show.

Hopefully it's just misdirection and then later in the film Doom swoopes in , Kills Kang Boom the over arching mastermind antagonist for the next set of movies is God King Doom

That's something else that's pissing me off. Thanos was built up over ten years. We have three years until Secret Wars and Doom hasn't even made his MCU debut yet. The whole thing feels rushed, and that's unforgivable when you're talking about the most iconic villain in Marvel Comics history.

Secret Wars Scribe and Loki Creator Michael Waldron to Write AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY

Marvel Studios is moving fast to find a new variant on its script for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Marvel mainstay Michael Waldron will tackle Kang Dynasty, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The hiring cements Waldron as a key architect of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga, its sprawling story told across multiple realities in film and TV. Waldron entered the Marvel fold as the creator of Loki, and went on to write Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. He is also the scribe behind Avengers: Secret Wars, which will follow Kang Dynasty. Kang is due out May 1, 2026, while Secret Wars has a release date of May 7, 2027.

The move follows the exit of director Destin Daniel Cretton, who remains in the Marvel fold on the TV show Wonder Man as well as with his upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings sequel.

Jeff Loveness, who wrote the Kang-centric feature Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, penned the previous draft of Kang Dynasty. Jonathan Majors plays Kang, a time-traveling villain with many variants across the multiverse. A version of Kang first appeared in the season one finale of Loki, with another serving as the antagonist of Quantumania. The final moments of the film revealed an entire Council of Kangs, with dozens of Kangs played by Majors, who returned for Loki season two and whose future in the MCU has been the subject of speculation as the actor awaits trial in New York on misdemeanor charges of harassment and assault.

Neither Kang Dynasty nor Secret Wars have directors attached, though Waldron’s hiring suggests a unified vision for both films ala Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, which were both penned by the writing duo Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
