Hulk is still there and seems to be the goldmine that Marvel never wants to use.
There are some legal/contract issues regarding Hulk. Another studio technically owns or co-owns him, and the deal they have makes it so Marvel cant do solo Hulk projects, he could only appear in ensemble stuff. If Marvel did a solo movie they wouldnt have control on a lot of the key things and wouldnt get a big cut of the money.

I actually forgot about this. I can't believe whoever owns Hulk hasn't tried to do something with him now that's he's so popular or at least he was during Ragnarok. That was the time to do something with him.

I believe it is Universal. I think they know they cant do anything with him without Marvel because the fans will riot if they put out a shit solo product that isnt connected to the MCU.

Seems like it would make the most sense to do like Sony did with Spiderman, let Marvel do their magic and watch that free money come in.

Yes they should either do the same thing as Sony or just work with Marvel to keep the MCU connected with Hulk. I'm sure Marvel doesn't want Universal doing projects like that without keeping it connected anymore then Universal does.

I completely agree. But it would've been nice to see him in infinity war/endgame. They really wasted that character.
Russos killed the hulk as far as I’m concerned. Total butchering of the character. It’s like they enjoyed Ruffalo more than the actual character.

Russo Hulk and Thor suck. Russo Iron Man Cap and Spider Man were the best versions of those characters IMO.

I think Universal owns distribution rights so they can't make a movie by themselfs. Also they own Namor rights(distribution). Also there is rumors that rights reverted or was bought by Disney some time ago (and there is rumor about World War Hulk movie in the works, latest rumor that I've seen were that Disney decided to make it a 4-part series/short movie with limites release in thetres.

AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY Enlists Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Screenwriter Jeff Loveness

The next Avengers film has found its writer. Marvel has tapped Jeff Loveness to pen Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced Kang Dynasty during the studio’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation in July, with THR revealing days later that it will be helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the filmmaker behind Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Loveness is well acquainted with Kang, the time-hopping villain played by Jonathan Majors who is central to Marvel’s Multiverse Saga. Loveness is the screenwriter behind Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which counts Kang as its villain and is due out Feb. 17. A version of the character first appeared in the finale of Loki season one, where he went by the name He Who Remains.

Loveness rose to prominence as a writer on Rick & Morty, the popular Adult Swim animated series that has become a training ground for Marvel. Its alums include Jessica Gao, head writer of She-Hulk, and Michael Waldron, the scribe behind Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Loveness shared an Emmy with the writing staff of Ricky & Morty in 2020

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty has a release date of May 2, 2025, and will be followed months later by Avengers: Secret Wars, slated for Nov. 7, 2025. No writer or filmmaker is known for that feature.

Rumor: Black Panther's Ryan Coogler in Talks to Direct AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

Shortly after both movies were announced during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, we learned that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton is set to take charge of The Kang Dynasty. However, the question of who will helm Secret Wars has remained up in the air.

Despite it being a dream project for the Russo Brothers, it's become clear that they're far too busy working on their own projects at AGBO. Ending the Multiverse Saga will be no easy feat for a filmmaker, but a new rumour shared by The Weekly Planet Podcast suggests that Avengers: Secret Wars will still end up in very safe, extremely capable hands.

According to the mostly reliable team behind the podcast, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler is in talks to take the helm of this final chapter in Phase 6.

It's important to note that nothing is confirmed at this stage. Coogler is definitely making a home for himself in the MCU, because as well as directing the Black Panther sequel, he's also serving as an executive producer on Ironheart and developing a Wakanda-set TV series for Disney+.

An Avengers movie feels like a logical next step and tapping Coogler for the movie seems far more likely than putting a project as important as this one into the hands of a filmmaker making their MCU debut.

Kevin Feige Confirms the Avengers Team Have Disbanded After Avengers: Endgame

Speaking on stage at the D23 Expo while announcing the Thunderbolts lineup, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that the Avengers don't currently exist in the MCU following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Feige revealed that the expected new leader of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Sam Wilson, is found in a world where the band is no longer together during his first solo film:

"You know, one thing in the Captain America film is that there currently is a world without the Avengers. Sam Wilson finds himself as Cap at a time where there's not an organization of Avengers."

Feige reassured the crowd, though, that the MCU would find a new team of supes in the meantime in the Thunderbolts, even if they don't live up to the reputation of their avenging counterparts:

"But just because there's not an organization of the Avengers doesn't mean there's not a group of superheroes in the MCU. Not a group, perhaps, as The Avengers but there's a group and they're called the Thunderbolts."

Furthermore, Captain America himself, Anthony Mackie, added that the previous Avengers heroes are "all... unemployed" while speaking in an interview with Variety that took place after the presentation:

“All of the Avengers are unemployed. We have a new and improved group. No, they’re over there with their Metamucil and, y’know, hangin’ out. Y’know, we’re the new guys… We’re the top dogs now.”

I had no idea they were doing Secret Wars. Holy shit that is a throwback...nice!

I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m excited!

I bet Feige doesn't give one single fook anymore. He kept it together for what, ten years. After End Game I woulda checked out mentally as well. Yeah yeah Kang, yeah whatever, let me rest here.

Is that what Secret Invasion leads to with Skrulls or Beyonder?

Secret Wars is the Beyonder storyline: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Wars

I still have the comics in storage lol. I know some people think it was cheesy, but it was one of the first big crossovers that I can remember when I was a kid where a ton of heroes and villains came together in an extended storyline, and there were some fun moments that I think could translate really well to the screen.
