How do you feel about Robert Downey Jr. cast as a Doctor Doom?

At a bare minimum we're missing the following characters who need to show up in either Doomsday or Secret Wars,

OG Captain America
Doctor Strange
Scarlet Witch
Spider-Man(at least Holland's version)
The Hulk

Add to that, I'd be very surprised if Deadpool and Wolverine don't make the cut.

I'm sure the majority of these names will be no more than extended cameos, especially the X-Men. And I'm equally sure more actual Avengers will be featured.

And I stand by my belief that casting RDJ as Doom was a colossal mistake, probably the biggest casting mistake Marvel has made yet.

That's the best-case scenario. The worst is that he really is Victor von Doom and they've just ruined the cinematic future for arguably Marvel's greatest villain. He's too good to be a one-and-done, and any actor who takes the role in the future will have instant and long-term comparisons to RDJ.
 
Sounds like they're trying to make Avengers: Doomsday another Spiderman: No Way Home or Deadpool and Wolverine. Those are the only two movies that have made big money in the past 5 years.

Pretty sure you could got Cillian Murphy to play Doom he is the perfect one for the part. If your gou g to re hash a actor for Doom - WHY NOT FASSBENDER who would be much better than using the biggest Marvel actor as EVERYONE associates with Iron Man.

You choose the OLD x men actors to use? They might not live 3 more years there in their 80s. Just dumb.

Mt Fantastic a a key player here totally mis cast an i like Pedro.

Marvel gets this wrong Marvel is dead an so far it's don't think they done anything right . I question whether it's sabotage of self at this point.

Tbh, I'd rather Doom be some Stark variant, otherwise it'd make zero sense for him to look exactly like Stark.
