Crime At least 10 killed, 30 injured as vehicle crashes into New Orleans crowd

Did this lead to terrorism related convictions? If anything the cited excerpt mentions affiliations with unindicted co-conspirators which implies there weren't convictions here.
Saw that this was answered.

Not if they took reasonable precautions beforehand. Convicting people on that basis requires passing a high bar.
If you look at the facts in a lot of school shootings, the parents could/should have been charged. It's only a new thing since the parents of Ethan Crumbley were charged.

He looked darker in the video than he does in that photo. He talked in it and sounded like you would expect a middle class black man from Texas to sound. Maybe he’s mixed or something. Doesn’t really matter in the end. The fact is he was 100% American born and raised so immigration talk was pointless.

Edit: picture of him in the army in this link
We could find out what country his parents are from and add them to the Obama list of countries banned from immigrating. Seems like an obvious way to reduce the gay nightclub shootings at least.

Sure and the statement didn't preclude that possibility.

That's your right of course but it's not accurate to say they didn't condemn his actions.

Somehow I think you have your mind made up on that.

I don't think it's fair to trivialize concrrns about documented civil rights violations as mere "feelings"

What gives you that idea?

Must be exhausting dedicating your entire life to defending islam every time an islamic terrorist does a terrorist attack. It's basically a full time job for you.

If I was a catholic, I would have left the religion after the SA scandal.

What would it take for you to leave islam?

So I guess the answer is nothing.

@Islam Imamate, in these threads, you always say only the 'extremists' are the problem, but most people would call someone who can't envision a single reason to ever leave the religion an extremist.

Kinda.

There are lots of social conditions that lead certain groups to become peaceful and others warlike. Anthropologists already answered this 150+ years ago when studying and observing "primitive" groups.

But no racial, ethnic, or cultural group is inclined to be any more or less violent. To suggest this is kinda fascist-y.
Wait, you think there's no link between culture and proclivity to violence? Lol

Various social, political, and environmental conditions create culture. In turn, culture can be peaceful, violent, in-between, whatever.

What would it take for you to not be an enormous piece of shit?

Huh? No seriously. What is 'shitty' about asking a religious person what it would take for them to leave their religion? Are you going to sit here and pretend if I asked that of any religion other than islam, you would even bat an eye?

Explain it to me. What's shitty about that?

My dad grew up christian (maybe catholic, I'd ask him but he died quite some time ago). He went to a christian all boys school and was physical abused by the nuns who ran it. He left the religion once he was old enough to move out on his own. He didn't want to be associated with a religion that institutionalized abuse.

People leave their religion sometimes. As an atheist myself, I guess maybe I just don't have the reverence for religion you do?

So explain it to me.

Surely you don't see us all as a bunch of predestined automatons? You know what else creates culture? Culture does. Unique cool af people do. It's all a symbiotic painting taking form from our minds. It is us.
