Jon’s “skillset” only works on much smaller men. If they let him do his eye pokes he’d have a chance at beating Aspinall. Without them he’s about as useful as a woodpecker with a poppadom beak

Exactly, also if he had any confidence in his "skillset" he would A - fight the likes of Ngannou and Aspinall and B - not feel the need to take steroids. A smart fighter like Jones knows best what he is capable of, and apparently he feels he would lose.

Well...people were actually saying it. They watched Gane get outwrestled by a striker in his previous fight. And betting odds favored Jones, unlike Jones/Aspinall.

They should’ve stripped him then after they held Jones/Stipe. It’s a farce we pretend there’s an interim after the real belt was already defended.

Aspinall fans don’t want to acknowledge he should be stripped, even after also not fighting for 1 year, as they don’t give a fuck and simply want him to be promoted. That can’t happen if he’s not interim. They don’t care he can be #1 contender without his interim belt as they know they need the belt to get the title. None of them want him to actually fight for the title
