Multiplat Armored Core VI

This game looks amazing.

Some of the voice acting and dialogue sounds annoying as hell.

Played an hour or two before work. Completed 4 sorties. Honestly thought I was gonna hate it during the intro mission but it's getting a little better. It's just hard to tell wtf is going on there is so much shit on the screen. Maybe I'll play with the HUD options tonight.

The mech customization is awesome. Can't wait to see what people create.

Never did see the big deal with "mech" games, but it is cool seeing "Armored Core" still going. Remember playing some of the games on the playstation way back.

Goddamn this is awesome. I love how good of a job they did making the AC’s feel so fucking dangerous. The audio you intercept, people are terrified of you.

The ending of chapter one:

The combat and the deep customization are carrying this game. I really enjoy it overall but the story is trash and I’m just hitting the skip button honestly

I’m already starting to give up hope of ever obtaining the platinum trophy for this. No way in hell am I good enough to get S rank on every mission. Anyone else feel the same?

This is me in most DMC games, lol.

Game runs incredibly smooth on PS5 performance mode, especially with a VRR display and with a higher resolution.

This game is losing me fast. Just finished the sortie with the invisible mechs and I just don't find the combat that fun. I've already checked out of the story.

I think I'm still chapter one. I did the wall and killed the giant Juggernaut mech and did a few sorties after that

I’m definitely a little disappointed. It’s fun but it has a lot of flaws. Yes, the story is indeed horrible. I just don’t understand why we can’t get more cinematic storytelling. I’m not going to get invested in a story told over audio logs with awful voice acting. Sorry I’m just not. My other issue is the main missions bring piss easy and then the bosses having Sekiro levels of difficulty. Never seen such a disparity in any game before like that. I’d score it a 7 or so as of now. It could go up if the game gets better

Stories told in a From game have always been cryptic. Also, if you came for story this is the wrong company of games for ya.
