I'd say Damir Ismagulov has better defensive wrestling than RDA and what Arman showed us vs Islam and Gamrot even though he lost was hugely impressive. Ontop of that Joel Alvarez is more of a threat off his back than RDA is.

Clearly Arman is the kind of caliber of wrestler than RDA has spent his entire career crumbling versus. This is a "name" to prop up Arman mostly, it's just not an interesting fight. It's the UFCs version of Usman vs Bendo.

When I said 'decent grapplers', I should have mentioned I was looking at that in terms of name value and talent, not just talent.

Yes, exactly right, it's a name to prop up Tsarukyan IF he wins, but I think this is more competitive than you're perhaps suggesting here.

I'm interested, anyway.

It's kinda lazy matchmaking as in it's a traditional up vs down fight (Arman trending up the rankings, RDA most likely heading down due to age), but I think it could be chaotic and fun.

I don't think Arman washes RDA until maybe the third round.

Arman has way better top control, GnP and back takes. He'd have taken Turner down each round and Turner wouldn't have gotten up, maybe finish him.

I'd prefer Arman vs Dober, Dawson, Moicano. To be honest there's just very few guys who can handle this kids wrestling in the division.

Im very high on Tsarukyen but his gas tank is a question mark for me. RDA have a shot on round 4-5. Should be a fun fight.
