I usually tune in about an hour to 90 minutes after the 1st fight starts and DVR my way through the Prelims to finish just in time for the PPV

Exactly.
I’ve done it a lot of times for (on paper badass) PPV-cards, but I’m European. I start watching at 00:00 with some beers, and finish early in the morning at 8 am, then straight to bed. It’s a little bit hard, but doable, and worth it as a fightfan. I’ll still have a great experience.

As TS describes it though, staying up all night to catch the first prelim at 9, what in the actual fuck??
At that point just do it with 5 hours of sleep or something if you went out the night before

Some of the (on paper) great cards turning out to be shit really made you feel like doing a Fosbury Flop over the balustrade instead of going to bed at 8 am.
I fucked my weekend up for this shit!?

It’s gonna be a beautiful 8AM main card start time for me. I’ll try and wake up early catch some of the prelims while I do some house work and then enjoy breakfast and people punching face.

Nothing wrong with the card time...at least not the main card, it's right in the middle of the afternoon, so what?

Only probably is it's in the middle of football, but between fights there's usually quite a bit of time to catch up
