Crime Are you rich enough for Trump tax cuts

Does the increase in child tax credit count?
It sounds much more realistic, yes, and I think his admin did something similar though smaller his first term. Forgive me for not trusting him though

What information?
On why the 13% were left out of the tax cuts man. You said you'd have to look into it and it's something you need to know.

And don't miss my other post explaining how Trump's getting more money out of us and not less while pretending to cut taxes by a meager 1,000 a year.

This is all a cash grab from the poor and the middle class while giving his rich buddies and himself huge tax breaks.

Look for them to cut social programs next.

That one doesn't count either? Oh boy, I'm noticing a pattern here. What about eliminating taxes on tips or increasing energy production?

He doubled the standard deduction which is great for the majority of people especially those who don't own houses. My property tax is cheap so I have been taking the standard deduction

Also cut the tax bracket from 25% to 22% aswell as the 15% to 12%

Probably has saved me $3500 every year federal taxes since 2017

It was the best tax plan for me to actually get a tax break. Kamalas tax plan wouldn't have helped me at all:

Not starting a new business
Don't have a new born kid
Already own a home

So yeah Donnie T has helped my taxes since 2017 and I'm hoping he does extend those tax breaks since 2025 is the final year

How much is the child tax credit going to be?

Show everyone where I said or implied it doesn't count.

Taxes on tips I don't know about, same with when Harris proposed it. From my understanding if he implemented his version it could be used as a tax loophole as it didn't apply only to service workers. We'll see.

Biden increased energy production from where Trump had it, which makes Trump's talking points on that front during the campaign amusing. Anyway, I disagree with the Democrats and Republicans on this one, I think fracking is too risky and I'd rather we more aggressively be pursuing getting off fossil fuels.

Um, yes. What kind of adult doesn't have a household income over $65k? A married couple who both work at chipotle have that as their household income.

I'm personally not that interested in it. I've pointed out numerous other things Trump actually campaigned on that will help the middle class ITT. IMO it sounds like he campaigned much more on helping the working man.

Its possible tariffs will cause prices to go up but mass deportations would probably be an even bigger impact. Its also possible prices could go down for other things due to other policies like increase energy production.

Everything will go up in price man. Every single thing that comes from out of this country and that is a whole lot of stuff.

The average person will pay way more than they save if they even get that $1,000 tax cut.

Don't forget about the 13% they're going to pay more and pay the tariffs.

These are not policies set forth by someone that wants to help the middle class and the poor.

I doubt it. Some prices will probably go up, but domestic manufacturing would also probably get a boost, which will grow the economy.

And Kamala wanted to raise the corporate tax rate which would have affected wages/compensation.

Maybe domestic manufacturing will go up. Let's remember Trump lost way more jobs under his watch and Biden brought many more jobs in.

But that still doesn't excuse Trump's terrible tariffs and s***** tax plan because there's no way those manufacturing jobs are going to be up and running in a year man....

You're doing backflips for somebody that's lied to you. And you're wrong about the corporate tax rate. Corporations are already charging more than they need to and as much as they possibly can they would have to eat that but instead now we are getting tariffs which makes us eat all of it so they can get a bigger tax break.

The truth is Trump loves the rich and he's f****** the poor over and you're just making apologies for it which is f****** crazy to me it blows my mind.

Yahoo lol such garbage..

"you're primed to receive the lion's share of the benefits from extending the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). High earners in this range could see their after-tax income increase by about 3.2%."

From 2017

IRS data proves Trump tax cuts benefited middle, working-class Americans most

https://thehill.com/opinion/finance...enefited-middle-working-class-americans-most/

Congressional Democrats have argued that one of the best ways to pay for the legislation is to raise taxes on wealthy households, which, according to many on the left, have benefited disproportionately and unfairly from the 2017 tax reform law passed by Republicans and signed by former President Trump. The latest data, however, proves that this claim is pure mythology.

Income data published by the IRS clearly show that on average all income brackets benefited substantially from the Republicans’ tax reform law, with the biggest beneficiaries being working and middle-income filers, not the top 1 percent, as so many Democrats have argued.

"The fact is, Republicans’ 2017 tax reform law did exactly what was promised: It lowered taxes for all income groups, provided the greatest benefits for middle-income households, and spurred economic growth that helped reduce poverty and improve prosperity."

I don't mind paying my tax.

I just don't like when it gets squandered, or wasted on woke bullshit. On the other hand he's probably going to give even more to the zionist jews now, so I'll probably never be happy with any administration when it comes to tax
Musk got $800k in forgiven "loans" under Trump, Tom Brady got $900k

Yeah, Trump really protecting those tax dollars

As soon as a Democrat gets elected, one of the first things that gets said is that they're going to ruin the oil industry, and only Republicans can save it.

But let's look at the numbers. Under the Biden admin, oil companies are producing either record breaking, or hovering right at that record breaking numbers.
But Biden was going to destroy the oil industry.

And who was the President when shale oil and natural gas took off.

Now, let's compare that to when Trump was in office. There was a point where Trump messed up the economy so bad, people weren't buying things created from oil, like gasoline. This created such a massive surplus, that oil companies couldn't give away oil. Free oil. Trump even went begging to the Saudi's to cut production, so the price of oil would go back up, and American oil companies could start selling oil again.

Then there was GW. Do I need to get into how we went to war for oil companies, putting our country into massive debt.

So, when we're talking about energy production, and the past couple of presidents, Republicans have failed on their promises. And despite the insesscant bleatings of the right, Democrats have yet to destroy the oil industry. In fact, it flourishes under Democrats. Hell, they even had record profits under the Biden administration for multiple years in a row.

And since we're talking about energy production, let's talk about coal plant regulations.

When coal is burned, there are leftover products like slag and ash. Those things can contain all sorts of nasty stuff. There's aresenic, mercury, lead, cobalt, cadnium, etc.
For years, coal companies have just dug pits, and threw those byproducts in the pit. But it wasn't lined, just a dirt hole.
I'm sure you can put together what happened to the local water supplies.

Coal plants were doing this up until the Obama administration! The EPA in 2015 gave them until 2020 to stop doing that.
These coal companies knew they were poisoning the water, killing the locals. But they didn't care, they kept using them.

Guess who rolled back the regulation, and coal plants can go right back into dumping their toxic chemiclas into those unlined pits.

Trump rolled back another regulation on coal power plants, but this one was how much toxic material, like mercury and lead, that they were allowed to dump directly into the local waters.
We know the effects that these chemicals have on people. There's data to back it up. There's no denying it at this point.

That's how Trump "saved" coal plants. He gave a middle finger to the locals, and told them to enjoy their cancer. And what makes it worse, people that need health care because they were poisoined by the coal plants, are currently at risk of having their health care ripped away by the same people that approved their poisoning.

He ran on hurting the working man? I must have missed that.

Musk, who is more of a straight shooter than Trump, stated outright that the middle class must prepare to endure economic hardship as a result of the job Trump has appointed him to. When we see that they simultaneously give the biggest tax cuts to the richest 5% it's quite clear that the main focus isn't exactly on improving the situation for the working class.

Some of us profited from Trump’s economic blunder. My Marathon stock I was up 200% ( plus made money on options) and just banking dividends got bought out by Conoco Phillips. Sucked because Marathon had more room to run because they were rapidly reducing debt but Conoco does pay a way higher dividend so not too bad overall.
I also bought Chevron which is way up and Petrobas which is a Brazilian oil company that is a dividend monster around the same time when oil was negative a barrel

The first valid point emerges. You're right, they shouldn't be talking about tax cuts if their goal is to make a big correction to the debt issue.
