To me this fight is a pick em.

Topuria has never faced near as good a technical offensive grappler as Arman.

Arman has never faced anyone with this level of striking and Topuria has shown he's a grappler himself albeit against lower level guys.

Arman has the proven grappling and cardio, but Topuria has that X factor.

Either Arman cruises to a decision or gets KTFO.

Topuria is elite, and people who saw him wrestling against russian wrestlers praised him, if he was taken down, it happened rarely, and he always quickly got up to his feet quickly.

Arman has a chance to maul Topuria, but he would be the underdog. In fact Topuria has more odds to knockout Arman than Arman winning a decision according to many gamblers;

This is the biggest lightweight fight of 2025, could happen in 2026.

And taking down Topuria is hard, as he never throw kicks expect the calf kick, which is hard to catch. He never also throw knees. He is a technical boxer who calf kick. We will see how it will play out.

Arman is terrible. He got beaten by an unranked bum in Gamrot and had a split decision lucky win over Charles who almost finished him too. Didnt fight for 1,5 yrs now? Will be an easy win for Topuria since Arman will have trouble taking him down, is the same size if not smaller than Topuria and has mediocre striking…

This isn't a pick'em for me. I got Arman.

People forget Topuria looked like a fish outta water against Bryce when he was able to get top control in the first round and Bryce was landing some on Topuria too.

Topuria allegedly have this god-tier wrestling in training, but if there's anything that i've learned over decades of following this sport, it's only true when you see it. I have no doubt he's a solid grappler, but i doubt he's as good as islam or arman, and i really doubt he has 5 round cardio to deal with Arman's wrestling unless he lands that ko and i don't think he will.

I think this is 65/35 for Arman.

Charles was a fight that UFC put up to make Topuria look good. He was a big fav in that fight. UFC does things like that intentionally.

I have Arman by late finish if they fight. Topuria is trying to duck him hard though, a for effort.

Topuria is an amazing fighter, but it's a bit questionable whether Volk was at his hundred percent and I know he dropped Max, but everyone got an expiry date on their chin and he does hit hard and a great power and a boxer.

Match ups make fights though. Haven't seen him against anyone remotely as good as Arman, and when he did fight Bryce, he wasn't that dominant in the first round and Arman is no Bryce Mitchell. I think Topuria will have much harder time finding Arman and i think Arman will wear him out late and possibly finish him.

Also, Topuria didn't deserve an immediate title shot either in my opinion.

I really hope we dont see a wet blanket trend creeping along again. Usman with 2 knees is back, khamzat is hugging people so hard you would think he was out of the closet, and now mr dont throw punches arman is set to fight for a title soon.

Its like we are regressing. Give me back the usman and khamzat who ko people

Illia dominated with grappling in most of his pre-UFC fights.

No way Arman is going to hug him on the ground for 5 rounds. Arman really came within a hair of losing to Charles and I'm not all that impressed by his performance.

I wont be surprised if we see another finish by Ilia. Arman's been out too long.

Topuria is ducking Arman for a reason, so it seems like Gaethje or Paddy are next, even though Max deserves it more than both and has a better chance of winning than those two.

Ilia/Arman really is a pick'em though like you say.

Hey big boy they are prize fighters. Does Justin and/or paddy make Top more money ?

If so he’s not ducking. If not I’ll admit he’s ducking. But we all know they do sooo suck me

60-40 we seen illia brush Oliverieas grappling aside, he might continue us wrong

He's willing to vacate the belt to avoid him, money isn't the issue.
