The science showed they were largely ineffective. People wore them improperly, wore the wrong ones, and didn't change them out enough. It was a social experiment that caused more problems than they solved, especially with school kids. I will never wear one again, because I am not a lemming, and following the money, we should all be embarrassed. We were played and people got rich. By the way, I had that crazy virus last week. I stayed home until I felt better. I feel better now, all done. I wore a Mask, got the vaccine, and still got covid 3x and am dealing with issues from the vaccine including hearing loss. Never again. If you are sick, stay the fuck home, end of story.

For the record, I have never caused problems for anyone who chose to not wear a mask (or get vaccinated). In fact, during the pandemic I organized the company Christmas party for those who didn't vax or mask, because they couldn't go to the restaurant like everyone else.

During the height of covid, I watched kids play a soccer game, outside, with masks on. Outside. Parents were masked up also. I was also at the park, no mask, did not get within 10 feet of anyone, and I would say hi to these masked people and they would just put their heads down and shuffle away.

People drove cars and went for runs outside with masks on. People would wear masks to restaurants and then take them off to eat.

So yes, if people were told to wrap their heads with tin foil to prevent aliens from planet Triton from stealing information from their brains, yes they would do it. And it would be less silly than wearing masks.
