Bru its just a matter of time.

UFC wont survive another 10 years and i give combat sports in general 30 years -> CTE will be one of the biggest reasons.

naw, there will always be REAL men out there willing to fight....

Americans may wuss out but the rest of the world will take over...

Like they almost have today!!

Good point on CTE!!!

its gonna shut down alot of sports in safespace usa

No, I don't think Americans are falling behind at all. Jones, DC, Woodley, Holloway and Cejudo are all American champions currently.

When you say America, do you mean America? N and S? Brazil, Mexico and Canada are part of America. You gotstobe more specific with your rambling.

You give MMA way too much credit by calling it a D level sport. It is not a sport at all. Sports are things where real athletes compete in legit competition to find out who is the best in the world.

MMA is something that kids who were bullied by real athletes in high school and soccer moms do. MMA is not legit competition and is more similar to pro wrestling in the way the "champ" is determined. MMA is something where NFL washouts and pro wrestlers can come in and destroy "greats" with minimal training.

It is a place for bullied nerds and soccer moms to come in and fight other trash talent and pretend they are the best in the world at something. When someone like Russell Westbrook would destroy any MMA fighter in the world in a street fight.

coming from an Aldo fanboy a manlet soccer player with the charisma of a plank, but I do agree with you that Westbrook would give Aldo the hands

Brazilian jiu-jitsu dominated MMA in the beginning and that's why there are thousands of Brazilian jiu-jitsu gyms all over the country.

wrestling dominates MMA now and you can't find a wrestling as a martial art gym anywhere in the entire country!

When have you ever seen a "wrestling" gym?

wrestling might get included as some kind of Sideshow in the martial arts Buffet line at your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym but you will never find a wrestling exclusive gym.

there might not be any wrestling gyms, but there is wrestling all over the country... in my town, there is wrestling at the community center, the high schools, at the park and even in a church

if the UFC folded tomorrow or MMA got banned in my state than the local bjj school would go out of business, but I know I would still be able to train wrestling

MEANWHILE IN RUSSIA:

huh? I was pointing out that Woodley was no longer Champ

ok but he lost to a "technical" american as Usman is american trained

no american wrestlers have to "contend" with freestyle wrestlers because they dont let them in UFC

Americans have no creativity, so no surprise they're falling behind.

Looks like 2019 is yet another year where Americans will be falling behind in MMA
