I got it. Opening already public facilities to MMA is worth while, the stigma around these sports needs to change. I just wish I had understood your emphasis on this point specifically from your original post. I see it now.
I don't count WMMA, but you (Russian top team avatar gives you away) are third even if you count all the top organizations outside UFC, they have more top players everywhere:Switch. Unless you count WMMA.
Yeah, those rankings are good. There you can see that America is clearly #1. Just look for yourself at the rankings on the link you provided and compare the USA to other countries. Which countries are better? There are none. Also watch the rankings on Tapology and fightmatrix. USA #1, Brazil #2 and Russia #3 in all of them8/25 of the current top ranked heavyweights are American...
THAT'S 32% !!!!!!

Don't just look at the UFC...
Do ALL THE MATH and America SUCKS AT MMA!!!!

135 has: Moraes, Munhoz, Lineker, Assuncao against just Petr Yan
145 has: Aldo, Mohicano, bibiano fernandez against just Zabit and the ACA champion that is 17-1
155 has: Barboza, Oliveira, Patricky and Patricio Freire, Ferreira against Khabib and Makhachev
170 has: RDA, Maia, Zaleski Dos Santos and Douglas Lima against Ramazan Emeev and the dude that knockout Eddie Alvarez I guess
185 has: Jacare, Borrachina, Machida, Antonio Carlos Newton, Anderson and the dude that knockout Alesander Schlemenko in M-1 against... nothing really
205 has: Santos, Teixeira, Lil Nog, Johny Walker and Shogun against the dude that beat Thiago SIlva and the dude that decisioned Phil Davis
265 has: JDS and Werdum against Volkov, Abdurakhimov, Oleynik and maybe Khari.
The only one that they win is 265. In the rest, they lose and in some they get dominated like 170, 185. It's just the Khabib, Zabit and dagestani hype that is making people believe that there is more out there than there really is.

Who is #1 then if USA isn't? That's how it works, dude. To be #1 you just need to be better than everyone else, you don't need to have a specific percentage or anything so forget about that shit.Americans make up 32% of top ranked heavyweights and thus you consider them #1
American make up 29% of top ranked boxers...are we #1 there also?

You are also only looking at heavyweights which is the least talented division where anyone from any sport with any background and just 6 months of training can become a ranked contender like Greg Hardy, Brock Lesnar or Francis Ngannou. And USA is still #1 there.
But watch all the divisions and see. Usa #1 in all of them, Brasil #2 in most of them and Russia #3 in most of them. It's easy to see, dude. It's not rocket science ffs.
I highly doubt 90%........ there’s tons of Brazilian fighters, Russia has a lot of fighters in MMA now.Easy when almost 90% of the fighters are from USA.

No, I don't think Americans are falling behind at all. Jones, DC, Woodley, Holloway and Cejudo are all American champions currently.
