Stipe is a part-time fire man, and still the "most feared HW ever with Ford Escort-like KO power in his hands (lol)" could not finish him. Stipe took his shots in the first round like breakfast, and put his ass on the canvas for 20 minutes.

Someone posted a pic of him next to DC once that showed 5'10 DC and 6'4" Miocic have the same length legs. That extra 6" went to his upper body. Id believe him,Mirko was also very very strong in his day. I mean he still is. He had to basically rely heavily on that fact later in his career. Bullying people to the cage and using elbows. Looks can be super deceiving when it comes to strength. Stipe and DC are two of the most unimpressive looking people in the UFC but there's no doubting their strength. "You might not like it but that's what peak performance looks like."

I think they are both two of the most impressive if you know what you should be looking for.

Both are thick as hell. The strongest people in the world don't look like body builders.

Old is old when the fighter was first in the top 10 like a decade plus ago. Or when they are all pushing 40, like the average age of Stipe's wins is.
