Apparently JDM won't get a year to defend his belt if he needs it

Talking more waffle than Ian Garry here.

I have a more basic question
Why wouldn't Jack be ready to fight in 3-4 months time?
All this crap about champions needing extra long camps is just BS
And I dont think JDM has even said he wont be ready.
Fight frequent and make money, build legacy etc
As people are saying the UFC forced Islam to vacate his belt so they have to give something in return.

Because the scales dont lie in Australia and Islam doesnt have the full 24 hours between weigh in and fight ..

Ali exposing the game every where

So we are suggesting Islam will have a hard time making 170 now?

If anything the slightly quicker turnaround in Australia would benefit Islam given his lack of weight needing to be cut.

If someone is suggesting that, it’s Ali. Why else would they have a problem fighting in Perth?

Apparently the UFC has promised Makhachev that JDM will have to defend the belt soon-ish, and "If Jack is not ready, Islam will fight for the belt. Not the interim belt. For a real UFC belt." This is according to Islam's manager Ali. This is likely some kind contractual guarantee, which the UFC would have had to give him to get him to vacate his title.

This is the kind of dumb shit that happens when Crybabies like Ilia Topuria refuse an interim title fight, and Dana White refuses to strip Jon Jones. Imagine JDM losing his title 6 months from now because he gets injured, and we get Islam vs Shavkat or Garry for the vacant title, all because little baby Topuria wouldn't take an interim title shot.

Remember when Ali basically came out and said Islam used an IV in Australia before he realised it was illegal there...

I think it was actually his team mate personally who missed on the card, but the guy is a bit of an idiot.
r/MMA - Ali accidentally implies that Islam Makhachev used an IV at UFC284. From WA MMA commission website: The Commission also prohibits the use of intravenous therapies which are used for aiding rehydration from excessive and deliberate dehydration.

I mean I'm sure he probably will end up fighting there. But isn't it common for the A-Lister to try and have the fight location take place on more favorable or at least neutral grounds. With JDM being from Australia having the fight in Australia would be an advantage for him in that regard. So Ali (a man who lies more than Dana) says they won't fight there. But my bet would be that they do in fact fight there so long as JDM is ready to fight in October.

Negotiation tool to try and "compromise on Australia" in exchange for an October 5 month turn around for JDM. At least that's what I'm taking for trying to read between Ali's lies.
