I know I know, JRE is lame. I don't listen anymore except for the occasional guest that piques my interest. I'm already stanning for Gable, and I'm looking forward to American dominance being restored in a paper thin division.
That said, something about his personality and mannerisms really reminded me of Jon. He refers to himself in the third person quite often.
"I want kids to see Gable and think......"
"...at the end of the day, Gable Steveson is just like you..."
He has that same detached, self-absorbed quality that makes him unrelatable and off-putting. The same way Jon comes off when he starts talking about Jesus and practicing gratitude. No wonder they're two peas in a pod.
Needless to say, Joe steered clear of any hard questions.
