Uhh you know that you can extract data from defunct drives, right? All you need is to grab the wallet.dat file and know the password(if you had one).

Oh, I know and have tried. The drive is toast. It sounds like fax machine when it spins up. The data is might still be on the disc if it's not scratched to shit, but even if it could be recovered, which wouldn't be cheap to do, the wallet was encrypted and the passphrase is long gone.

I bought 100 bitcoins around a year ago for $4 each, their price now is something like $35 each . Ive never had to give out my bank details or anything though.. i bought them via paypal and then got the coins sent to my bitcoin wallet by giving the site i bought them off my wallet address..

What? Lol tons of companies are accepting Bitcoin right now. There's nothing illegal about it as long as you report its value to the IRS.

Walmart and Domino's could take pigeons for payment and that would be legal. The problem with Bitcoin is just that people refuse to report their earnings with it.

I'm honestly going to start using btc. I'm not looking to buy it tho. I'm looking forward to playing a online game and sell the in game gold to this 1 website and they give u btc or usd. That's the only way I know how to get btc without spending a dime.

I know you are trolling but to answer your question I'm extremely fortunate to be in my financial situation, and if you're asking on a crypto level I've made a lot from my crypto investments even with all my stupid mistakes.

As for that shit coin I honestly don't even remember buying into it as it was just one of many shit coins I bought. The important thing is I learn't my lesson and now only buy decent coins when the market crashes and gradually sell as they go up. But it also taught me how easy it is to create your own shitcoin and make a fortune from idiots like myself (at that time of my life) who will buy into any shit.
