I noticed the majority of serial killers are middle-aged white males.

Well, American and England are the best at catching them and both are majority white countries. Of course in USA you have Arleen Warnos (sp?), richard ramirez, the black dude killing all the black kids in ATL, and in south america you had that latino dude that killed a ton of people.
Serial killers are very hard to catch and most countries cannot really correlate murders on that scale and randomness.

South of the border they have some of the most wretched shit going on that doesn't even make news in the rest of the world. Shit that goes on in the states pales in comparison. My mom is from El Salvador and she has told me stories of shit that's went on there when she was growing up, fucking unbelievable. Went there to visit when I was 12 or 13 and she dressed me in rags so we wouldn't draw attention when we got off the plane. Shits no joke in Latin America

The ones you know about - ie - the most infamous and twisted, highest body-counts etc.

There are fucking LOADS of black serial killers from the USA. Loads. I have a book about serial killers and at the back, is a complete, absolutely huge index of every documented serial killer, their race/DOB etc, M.O and victims. It's such a good read. Anyway, my favourite thing to do when I read the index was to google image each killer to see what the weird fucker looked like. But that's off topic. Anyway, yeah fucking tons of black serial killers, 9/10 preying on black women. Very rarely venturing beyond rape and strangulation though it seems - weird torture/mutilation/etc seems to be very much a white thing in serial killers for the most part.

The last few serial killers I can remember being caught or whatever in the USA were black dudes. Anthony Sowell in Ohio, some other dude and maybe a third.

Also tons of Latino but not that many in North America, those entries tended to be centralised in central and south America.

On a side-note, this was interesting. When I was teaching in China, one of the older female students brought up the movie Seven during a class discussion. My teaching assistant said 'oh yeah, we don't have those here in China, serial killers. that's a western thing, it doesn't happen in China'. I was like 'bitch please, I can think of two right now from fairly recent times with high body counts'.

Government doesn't want the people to know things like that are possible in paradise I guess. Which is dangerous, coz if one is loose, the public aren't really warned.

I'm gonna go with a hipster choice that you've probably never heard of. Harvey Carignan aka The Want-Ad Killer aka Harv The Hammer. He was known for having "superhuman strength" according to police reports. He had an ape-like build, long, thick muscular arms and huge hands. Even today, at nearly 90 years old, he's still scary looking. It was reported that even into his mid-70s he was still able to do one-arm pull-ups for up to 15 minutes. As a middle aged man, law enforcement officers reported he used to easily do one-arm chin-ups from the bars above his cell for 90 minutes to two hours. His jailers have described him as the most evil prisoner they ever encountered. He once ruptured one of his victim's skull from chin to forehead with a single punch.

This is the weirdest god damn documentary I've ever seen. It's like it was made by people who'd never seen a documentary before. The Seinfeld music was especially distracting.

And Harv would force women to fellate him while he beat them over the head with a hammer? Did he want his dick bitten off?

they are very hard to catch...seems most of the times in the states it is an accident...like they get pulled over for some minor offense or some shit. And also correlating these murders to the same person really take like the FBI type dudes. Something like 95% of murders in rio go unsolved.
