Anybody else cry for George Masvidal last night?

It's hard to feel sympathy for a guy who had this to say about Colby:

“Both of us could be in a very bad situation where we could maybe help each other to get out of the situation, and I wouldn’t,” he said. “I’d say, ‘Nah, we both die here.’ In a sinking ship, I’m causing a fist fight with him right there and we both die, you know?”

Here's a 37 year old man with children who admits publicly that he would be ready to leave them fatherless for nothing but his fragile ego and to spite Colby. What does that say about him?

He is a prize fighter who fought for one of the biggest prizes of his career, a win would be great but it's about the money at the end of the night.

Professional fighters fight for money. This isn't some made for TV movie about fighting for honor. Jorge's a warrior who gave it his best shot and lost. He's 37 years old, ancient in MMA terms, yet he's still taking tough fights. God bless him, I love the guy and will watch his next fight.

The fight was exactly how I expected it to go. Masvidal is not the same as he once was and was never going to win. The hype is over. I wanted him to win so bad but knew he would not.
It was never about hype. Sick of reading that bullshit. He always fights the best and he won a lot of them. His personality made him more popular. Nothing wrong with that.
