Multiplat Any of you guys playing Arc Raiders?

Yeah, the streamer stuff is over. They had their hissyfit and it's done. I'm loving this game though!
I was watching a tip video today and apparently for the bigger events the game pops you into a server more your play style.

So all those people complaining about getting killed are being put into lobbies of people that play like them.
Not sure how true it is, but it's the 3rd video I have seen someone mention this appears to be the case and it does fit the dev style.

I can't work out what it is about the game that I like. Nothing stands out as amazing, but I genuinely just enjoy doing runs and trying to upgrade scrappy etc.
Nothing better than when people are bandaging you on the way to extract or me doing the same whilst people protect us from arcs.

I finally got the security locker breach perk so i don't have to worry about guns anymore really.

a few rounds of going straight to lockers and i'm fully restocked.
i've played roughly 30hours so far, almost exclusively in the Dam.

i'm usually friendly and don't attack but i did for the 1st time today with a lvl 4 torrent. i just walked up to the guy and blasted him. i instantly felt remorse, pretty fucked up that the game gave me this emotion

I've been PK'd around 15 times and have yet to PK anyone. I'll defend myself but they usually get the drop on me while I'm searching. This is one great game.

Solos have been pretty chill. Only had maybe 3 instances of PKers with one doing the “don’t shoot” only to gun me down in the back.

Duos is mostly pvp, very rare to find a friendly game there. Did have one where there was like 8 of us running around and some other duo decided to shoot one of us. The other “team” died.

Haven’t tried trios at all.

I've only been playing around once per day at night when all of the maniacs are gone. I was going to raid a room with a keycard I'd found earlier. Someone was already in there, had a deployable barrier set up, and was grinding away. I called out "Friendly!" and they replied back. I said, "Oh you're already here, I'm just gonna dip out." They said "Hey I have an Anvil blueprint, do you need it?"

I NEEDED THAT BLUEPRINT SO FREAKING BAD!

I said "Oh yeah! I don't have one, they dropped the barrier, dropped the blueprint on the ground and said, "All yours brother, Merry Christmas."

The keycard I had, I gifted it to another player as I was extracting. Just trying to share the love. :)

The devs have stated that if you're going around doing PVP, you'll basically be put into a PVP lobby and that the opposite is true. I just unlocked an achievement after gaining another key for a locked area and just went crazy. I found two blueprints and a pink (rare) weapon. I also found a hatch key that I used to GTFO so fast that I broke the sound barrier!

Still playing this game and I've logged in an embarrassing amount of hours thanks to the holiday break.

Did the expedition and resetted my toon. Now that I know where most things are and have several sets of looting routes getting to level 75 and upgrading all my workshops was very quick. I transferred a bunch of top tier weapons and blueprints to my 2 buddies before the reset and then got some of it back (the blueprints mostly). My friends don't play this much so I use them as extra storage anyway. This season is very generous with blueprint drops depending on which maps/settings you're running. At the beginning of the cold snap, blueprints and top tier loot was fucking abundant. Now I suspect high loot RNG rotates among night, hidden bunker, cold snap or regular day maps randomly throughout the day. The game is still hell of a lot fun but i've finished most of the goals i was targeting. Now I am just going to finish all my quests and just loot continuously till i get all the blueprints. Then its stashing top weapons, blueprints and money (already have 1.7 mil) for the next expedition (already completed).

Memorable events:

1. One day before xmas on spaceport, I zipped up a security tower and landed next to someone looting the security locker. I said friendly friendly even though I had the drop on him and he thanked me for not killing him. We exchanged pleasantries and then decided to loot together. He showed me his looting route and i showed him mine. Near the end he said I like you bro and he wanted to give me the Aphelion blueprint. I was like WTF!? That's the hardest blueprint to get (last season) and he was like he had an extra. So we friended and I asked him if he happen to need the equalizer blueprint because i had a spare stashed.. he was like "oh shit that's the one i need". So we exchanged and became buddies.

2. This week's trials had an annoying one: snowball the rocketeer. Need to disable its two propellers (one one side) so it would fall and hopefully flip and can't move instead of blowing up. Attempted this twice and kept on killing it by accident so i said fuck it.. not doing it. Then went into blue gate and met a raider on pilgrim's peak who wanted to do it so i said why not.. i'll help him. Well we flipped that bitch with 20 mins left to spare and started pelting him with snowballs! I found a spot to make them so we spend 16 mins rotating between making snowballs and pelting the rocketeer. Most rewarding round ever since rocketeers are the most difficult and hated arc IMO. A third raider noticed and asked if he could join in and we were like of course! the more the merrier. With 4 mins left we left that dog shit rocketeer on the ground (didn't even kill him) and adrelanine-fueled ran all the way to the extract point with 40 secs to spare. We giggled like little girls on how we turned that rocketeer into a snowman as we extracted. I earned so many points from that event it polevaulted me to #1 in my trials leaderboard. Dropped to #3 but got back to #2 after i went on a bloodthirsty run to kill shredders in stella montis. About to go back in for another session.

3. Went into spaceport night raid and found myself looting the entire Departure building. All by myself. It is the largest building with the most amount of lootable items and no one bothered to enter the building but me. It was weird. I heard tons of gunfire in the distance but not a single raider ever entered. So i looted the locked area first then raided the first floor, going all the way around. Hmm.. nothing great. Then i proceed to loot the 2nd floor and near the end I am muttering to myself "this game is fucking trolling me. The largest high loot building all to myself and I find NOTHING!!! NOTHING!!!". Then I shit you not, the very last drawer i find a tempest blueprint. This game just double-trolled me... Safely extracted.

4. Hidden Bunker Event on Spaceport. We must activate 4 antennas on the roofs throughout the map and while you wait you have fight off several arcs. All 4 antennas triggered will unlock the hidden bunker. What some bums (including myself) would do is just camp/wait at the 3 entrances of the bunker and as soon as all the antennas activated they would bum rush the bunker and take everything. Never found anything good during the few run dashes. Well I tried to load into a Hidden Bunker event and the loading screen froze. So I restarted my game and tried again. Loaded in and headed off to the first antenna closest to me (Control Tower A6). This is the first time I am trying to do all the antennas as I've only ever done one (well watched others do it). As I get close i hear firing on the roof so I figured someone's got this one and i head off to the next antenna. Sure enough right before i reach the 2nd antenna the first one is done. I finish the 2nd antenna solo (took a while). It's suspiciously quiet. Where are all the raiders? I hear no gunfire anywhere. I run to the 3rd antenna (South Trench tower) and this one you have to use a zip line to get to the roof unless you have a key. Thankfully i had a zipline so I get up there and finish the 3rd antenna. I look a the time and there's 11 mins left? I trek over to the last antenna that's also right next to the hidden bunker. As I get closer still no notification that the last antenna is being triggered. Am I the only raider on this map!? I snap hook my way to the top of the Departure building, trigger the antenna and unlock the bunker with 6 mins left. I drop down and hurry into the bunker entrance that leads to the basement directly and and meet 4 rollers and 4 little spiders. Takes a 40 secs to kill all of them then i start running around looting. Take ANYTHING that's valuable. I loot as much as possible and as soon as the 2min time hits i run out of the bunker and head to the last extract which happens to be next to the hidden bunker. If the last extract point wasn't there I wouldn't have tried this solo crazy run. I safely extract with the loot which was the best I've ever done i think. 2 Volcano blueprints and 1 pink-tier weapon (either Volcano or Bettina) along with several high valuable crafting material. It was AWESOME! That was a fun ass experience that I'll probably won't get to enjoy again anytime soon. The map is always packed with people.

I'm enjoying the game. I have a lot of material but I'm not getting the diamond symbol stuff the ones you are supposed to sell.

I love Stella montis night raid mainly, and going for bastion and bombadeers.

Trinkets (diamond symbol types) are mostly in residential areas. Best places are apartments or houses in buried city or dam battlegrounds. The village in blue is also ideal but unless you are looking for something particular for upgrading your chicken or finishing flickering flames or expedition I’d skip them and continue killing bastions or bombardiers for money. All of its parts can net you a shit ton of money. If you can farm either on your own you make way more than running around looting for trinkets. The underground street in blue gate is a great place to farm bastions too.

I have these bastion cells and high value items but I'm being told to save them for crafting.

I haven't even BEEN to Stella Montis yet. I look at the streams and it's just a meat-grinder. After I make some room in my stash, I'm gonna go in with a free kit and brace myself.

Depends on what you are trying to upgrade but I believe only one workshop requires bastion cells. You may need some for the expedition but when the time comes farm more. If you have the room in your stash to hold them then definitely. If not sell some to make room.

It ain’t even that serious if you don’t PvP at all. If you are looking to murder then yes, Stella Montis is the ultimate PvP battlefield. But if you are running PvE everyone is helpful and friendly. The talkative ones will ask you if you are looking for something particular and give it to u if they have it, raise you if you are down, and help you fight every arc there. Battling shredders will be a very intense first time experience.

More tales of a non-violent (to humans) Arc Raider.

1. Hidden Bunker Event on Spaceport. Load into a solo game and run off and trigger one of the antennas. 2 other antennas are triggered as I am running towards the hidden bunker and i reach the "waiting" area and I hear a bunch of gunfire. Several raiders are battling a bastion. As I get there I see/hear 3 red raiders flare pop off and a second later the Bastion blows up. So i run towards the dead Bastion and see 3 raiders crawling around a few other raiders and screams of MEDIC! and anyone has a defib!??? I happen to have exactly 3 defibs so I go ahead and revive all 3 raiders and one of them is super thankful and tells me to come with him to the side real quick and he gives me a Volcano blueprint. He found 2 rummaging through the buildings around the area and gave me the extra. I am like.. awesome dude.. thanks! So we wait around for the 4th antenna to be triggered. It's about 300m away so whoever does it will miss out on all the rewards. After 2-3 mins of waiting we all know no one is going to do it so i announce to the group that I'll go do it. I got a Volcano BP already so why not. So i run off and trigger the 4th antenna, it opens the bunker. I hustle my way back and as soon as I go in i ask loudly "Hey guys I am back!? Anything left for me!?" jokingly. A raider comes up to me and says "yo Badooka. Thanks for opening up the bunker. Here's your reward!". He drops a Volcano BP and runs off. I am like "IS IT MY BIRTHDAY!??!".. lol.

2. So now I have 4 Volcano BP and a bunch of other valuable BPs I had been saving up. I message 2 people, the dude that gave me the Aphelion BP last season and a chick that I game-friended over a round of pleasant raiding and snowball fight. I told them I had some BPs for them. Neither had the Volcano BP so they were pleasantly surprised at the gift. The chick also resetted her toon and hadn't had much time to play over the break so i gave her several more BPs and a slew of pink-tier weapons (Volcanos, Tempests, Bettina, and Bobcats) fully modded. After our exchange and her giddiness in receiving a boatload of high tier weapons I asked her what she wanted to do. In a sweet innocent voice she slowly said "I want to commit... murder". I am like WhAt? She's laughing and tells me she's been running these friendly runs too much and she had an itch to PvP. She turns off aim assist in all her games and she wants to practice and become better at PvP. Awesome! I decline to join her though as I want to finish all my missions and it's easy to run in friendly games but once I am done I'd join her. Very next game I play I enter Stella Montis, joining midgame with 17 mins left. I run around a bit (always with proxy comm on) and 5 mins into my run I get a PSN message from the chick asking me if I was in Stella Montis. I am like yes are you here too? She tells me that she had just killed 4 raiders and noticed my name in proxy chat buzzing around as she was extracting. We were in the same game and she could have killed me!!!! Would have been a funny poetic way of dying.

Just got done playing a crazy game. Tested the osprey sniper on the bastion and it's really useful against it. Ended up with so much loot but ended up getting killed by raiders 🥲.

Constantly yelling "Yo! You friendly?!?!" while attacking so that if HE gets knocked, the lobby will attack the defender. That's like a female punching herself in the face and running to the cops so you can get arrested.
