Multiplat Any of you guys playing Arc Raiders?

Starting to get the hang of all the inventory and how to manage it.

you pretty much need a cheat sheet next to you and eventually you start remembering the actions to do by heart, but its quite overwhelming initially because you loot everything you see in game so within like 3minutes your backpack can already be full and then it becomes tedious to continu looting for the rest of the round knowing you'll have to make decisions on what to keep with no knowledge of what you should keep.

same problem happens when you exit the round and then your stash is full

my characther is level 15 now and i'm starting to have easier access to better items so its getting more interesting now to attack ARCs full on, and PVP other players

Played more with my cousin yesterday. I see now what annoys me about the game and it's the PVP engagements. They can be fun but most of the time they aren't. From people running, teams teaming up on me and my cousin, etc. It's just not nearly as fun to engage with other teams.

I will say though this one team took us down and then picked us back up and said that was a fun gun fight. I did think that was cool as hell.

I’m not much of a Battle Royale player because it’s hard for me to set aside time where I can give a game my undivided attention for several hours. But the streaming/clipping/content coming from this game has been hilarious and absolutely peak.

This isn't a battle royale format and you can jump in and play quick matches without needing hours at a time.

I've been playing for a bit and I've never been backstabbed. I've been PK'd, but no one has ever said "I'm cool!" and turned around and shot me..

Yet. I always try to carry some defibrillators in my safe pocket to pick up downed raiders. It's just the medical professional in me, I guess. I play on P.C. and Xbox-X. You get ONE GUESS what my gamertag is and there are no numbers behind it like "Jillyjobber 20893450".

Just finished a run... Whew! Two minutes left with a leaper some 20m away from the return point with Wasps and Hornets nearby. Ran into a raider that was hunkered down and said he didn't have jack squat left but was just doing a mission (as was I).

I said I'd call the lift and come back to the shed. Made the call, he was GONE! I heard him on proximity chat, told him to not get spotted and he said he hears a leaper... (Cringe!). I spot the leaper, it's moved away, but once we made a break, it was on...

The elevator door opens; I told him to leg it and I'm hot on his heels!

We both dive in, I'm getting lit up by wasps, but I managed to hit the switch.

The first round was on me back in Speranza.

These stories are what make this whole gaming experience so fun and different. I was playing duos with a buddy last night and we run up on a team at the exit. I say friendly, the guy I am talking to says friendly, his buddy pauses for a brief moment then headshots me lol. My buddy starts diving for cover, I start crawling in circles trying to ping them both. I use proximity chat and start chiding the guy I initially talked to "friendly? That wasn't very friendly. I sure wish we could all extract together right now but we're too busy being friendly". He responds "Sorry dude, I wanted to be friends." then punched me out lol. Guess his buddy never got the memo haha.

We also had a run in during a trios round where I got downed while inside the elevator, I called for it to extract and just me and one guy from the other team were able to leave. The other two sets of duos had to duke it out and break contact. Super fun times and unique gameplay moments. I'm really enjoying this one with friends.

I was interested in rust, after I heard about it and I've never played an "extraction shooter" which sounds more like a dystopian medical device.

Glad I downloaded this, its a blast

High profile streamers who act like this need a reality check on their actions. These arent community run servers where connected players go in with the intention to participate.

Grim got community backlash for getting angry at a stream sniper constantly doing circles around him while blaring a car horn. While Shroud was beloved for teaming with cheaters.

Had a mission given to me from one of the dealers in game. I had to take down a Rocketeer. I had no idea what to bring as the best weapon I had access to was a level 4 Ferro and one wolfpack grenade. I chose the Dam reservoir map. I met a few people and I helped on scrounge for some wires because they said they needed help. I did and they wished me luck in my quest.

I heard the "guitar riff" of a rocketeer as it was lurking over an exit. There was a green shed nearby and I hunkered in. I made sure I had plenty of bandages and shield rechargers and 40 rounds of heavy ammo. I took aim and threw my wolfpack.

Bingo. The rocketeer took 90% of the damage and a nearby wasp took one of the mini-grenades and splintered into fragments. I unslung my Ferro and aimed at the engines. As soon as I saw the targeting laser of the rocketeer, I'd dive back into the shed. Another raider joined in, but they were out in the open. They got downed and crawled into the shed. I had no defib. They didn't make it.

After many rounds there was smoke, then fire, then BOOM! The rocketeer crashed to the Earth. I raided it quickly and as I was trying to extract, wouldn't you know it!?!? A random raider started taking pot shots at me!

I chose discretion over valor and headed to another extract some 800 meters away. After ducking and dodging other Arcs I sprinted for the elevator as I was low on health and shields.... I made it out.

Mission complete.

I just had something similar happen to me the other day! Lots of dick bag rats who are waiting like cowards to third party you once you have started looting your hard fought treasures. Those Rocketeers sure are fun to fight though. Went at it with one using Anvils in a Duos match the other day. Took longer than anticipated but we downed it!

This is the correct mentality. NONE of the gear you find/craft is yours. It's just your turn with it. Sooner or later, the surface (game area) WILL reclaim it.

I was trying to do a mission for Tien Wen and completed the first part. I was at the 2nd location, and I got whipped by a Hornet drone. I went inside and called out "Don't Shoot!", someone agreed and I went into a room to recharge my shield and bandage myself.

There was a 2nd person in the room, and they just BLASTED me outright. I guess they and the 1st person got into it and they thought I was pushing them. They still knocked me out and I assume, looted my body. I had a lvl4 Ferro and a lvl3 stitcher that I'd crafted along with some normal loot.

I went back in with a free kit to do the mission, but I was spawned across the map. I thought, "I'd never make it there and back again in time.", So, I looked for the exit. Along the way, I found a body in a spider infested tunnel and looted it (after I killed the spider drones). There was an Osprey, and lvl4 Renegade, along with some choice gear.

I guess it's my turn with that gear now.

I have been killed less than 3x by actual players in around 8-10 hours. I have been literally bandaged to extraction by multiple people I don't know though.
It might change as I get better gear and I am playing on OCeania, so probably avoiding that streamer crap.

Solid game that i hope sticks around.

Yeah, the streamer stuff is over. They had their hissyfit and it's done. I'm loving this game though!
