My real guess for his real strategy...he needs to pressure jones and get jones to strike at him or exchange often in punch range and throw at the same time jones does , with power..everything has to hurt whethers its blocked or not...jones fights best a measured pace and distance..disturbing both or even one enough and openings with present themselves...D.C. Showed us jones can be outworked and is hittable in the clinch and punching ranges..a guy with smiths power could capitlize on getting into those positions..

Now Obviously jones is aware of this and will be spamming kicks and finger pokes..but hes best chance of success is to pressure,cut down the cage using angles (Gus did not do this at all and paid for it) and punch a hole through jones when they finally engage..

What would happen if a fighter had like a metal plate or rod in their body from an injury that required it? Say a person broke their shin and had a tungsten bar put in, could they still be a fighter? If so, A Smith needs to do that and just spam leg kicks all day.

Anthony Smith better procure on site or else he's going to get thrashed. I'm really hoping he shocks the world but I don't see it happening. That being said we've seen Jones fight a lot of big name guys that in theory were easier to prepare for because of high profile they were and how long Jones and his camp has known about them. Smith has a ton of fights but has only recently broken through. It will take some what of an unknown to heat Jones. An unknown quantity. As flawed as Anthony is there is still a bit of mystery, intrigue, X factor in terms of variables. Who knows?
