Anthony Smith's best game plan option is obviously....

Ref bump, manager passes him the knucks, 1,2,3 in the middle.

What would happen if a fighter had like a metal plate or rod in their body from an injury that required it? Say a person broke their shin and had a tungsten bar put in, could they still be a fighter? If so, A Smith needs to do that and just spam leg kicks all day.
See Luger, Lex.

I think his best strategy is to just go for broke. Come out of the gate throwing bombs and hoping for a short fight, whichever way it goes. Try to overwhelm Jones a bit. The longer he stays in there with Jon, the less chances he has of winning anyway. Try to blitz the fucker. The odds still won't be on his side, but they'll be slightly improved.
For sure, that's his best chance, but 100% Jackson is planning for this and is prepping Jon to drop to a double leg the second Smith comes storming out. Smith ends up mounted, split open and it's alllllll over 48 seconds in.

Jon has the clearest road to victory of any fight in his career against Smith: an aggressive striker with decent power, but sub-optimal cardio, very little game-planning and an exploitable grappling game.
