To bring a gun?
Hahaha30 seconds away from being LHW Champion.
One eye poke. Warning
One shot to the groin. Warning
The the odds are better and no points deducted.
My point? Have variety motherfucker.
Gotta be that or rolling into a kneebar/go for a flying arm bar/flying kneebar.
I agree, if he just stands in front of Jon Jones he will get cut to pieces. He needs to come in aggressive watching for those elbows and the clinch. Cut the cage and attack when Jones is retreating. Parry the outstretched arm and swing with bad intentions. That's when somebody, someday will KTFO Jones.I think his best strategy is to just go for broke. Come out of the gate throwing bombs and hoping for a short fight, whichever way it goes. Try to overwhelm Jones a bit. The longer he stays in there with Jon, the less chances he has of winning anyway. Try to blitz the fucker. The odds still won't be on his side, but they'll be slightly improved.
If Smith knocks him out he's got to throw his mouthpiece at him and be like 'That's for the pregnant bitch, bitch!'One of Jon's opponents with huge balls really should come dressed as a pregnant woman to one of the press conferences. That would be fantastic
Coming out the gate trying to poke Jon Jones' eyes with extreme prejudice, hitman mentality.
What's the worse that could happen?
A warning? A second warning? A point deduction? A NC?
We know he won't be DQ'd for it and eyepokes severely affect the outcome of fights, when poked in the 1st round the poker is 74% likely to win I've heard.
Get some clear nail polish to make them nails strong, maybe file them to a point, and don't tell them I told you to do it!
You can thank me later and you're welcome in advance.
This. Waiting around for the perfect opportunity or trying to engage Jones in a strategic fight is the worst strategy. Smith needs to push the pace heavily and if that means going out on his shield so be it. Jones will surgically pick him apart if he stays on the outside. In being super aggressive, he does have to keep in mind not leaving himself open to easy takedowns though. That is the only kind of caution I would advise. Don't leave your body hanging out there in awkward positions while punching so Jones can easily get you down. Keep those power punches tight and don't reach too much. Use your feet to get in the proper range.I think his best strategy is to just go for broke. Come out of the gate throwing bombs and hoping for a short fight, whichever way it goes.
