Said it a hundred times, fuck tipping off completely and charge more for the food to bump the wages up of the staff. If it gets to expensive to eat out, then buy food and cook yourself.

It isn’t illegal to not leave a tip.

It is illegal the menace or assault someone for not leaving a tip.

But it’s still a dick move to not leave a tip.

Dude should've tipped unless he got horrible service. Very low brow move, even you are against the tipping system, in principle.

That said, the owner was way out of line, and pretty much begging to have a bad day.

The guy is a regular who never tips and the owner finally snapped on him but the owner has since apologized and gave the guy a free dinner

A restaurant is private property, nobody is entitled to enter. So if the owner is fed up with him since he never tips, he can ban him. If he shows up anyway, trespass him and call the cops.
