It's unreal that so many are celebrating the success of his TDD in this fight without realizing that he sacrificed his entire offense (other than leg kicks) in order to do that. I think a lot of people still somehow don't understand the "MMA" part of MMA....they just look at individual surface level skills/abilities/outcomes but don't see how they all affect one another. They think since Ank didn't get a takedown, that his wrestling clearly had no impact on the fight at all

. They must think that Weidman is simply a better kickboxer than Anderson, and would destroy him even in straight up K-1.
