Ippo will fight Ricardo in a wheelchair at this pace. The whole is Ippo "broken" plot line is geting played out. He need to perfect his new move and start knocking off contenders. He's top ten in the world and gave Gonzales all he could handle.

Ippo is world class and just needs to get his confidence back.

I like that this chapter got rid of this cocky upstart. We don't need more characters, let's get fucking Ippo back in the ring.

It's a real shame. Series was riding on a high a couple of years ago. Just horrible pacing. Don't get me started on the Kojima fight.

Never seen it and I'm interested in watching the series, but it always pains me to see a good series get cut short(MxO, Double Arts, I-Revo, etc., too many to list sadly).

I don't use a specific site but sometimes if you google "series name non-filler arcs" or something like that you can find lists of what is filler and what is cannon.

Since the convo is on Ippo right now...Can Ippo actually fight soon like holy Christ George get on with it.

Actually it's been over 2 years since we saw him fight. Roughly about 2 and half years.

InVerse time frame is unknown. He last fought on March 1998 along with Itagaki. Probably mid year of that same year.

Itagaki was such a mistake. I think having Kimura retiring and Itagaki never appearing would have helped the pacing of the series a bit. Unless Itagaki and Ippo fight at some point he serves like zero purpose besides being some natural born genius trope.

FINALLY got to the fight with Luffy and Doflamingo, this fight is pretty badass so far. One Piece is the shit.

That's just cruel after what Imai did to Itagaki. Sendo or Volg would take his head clean off. Just sick I tell you...The gap in skills and power...
