I've felt that way since Ippo lost his last fight to that Mexican guy, can't recall his name but this whole "oh crap is Ippo punch drunk" story arc just feels like he did that just to try to find a way to continue the story.

Simple solution for George to make the pace and story go by faster and smoother. Kimura, Aoki, and Itagaki die in a car accident and they finally stop taking up panels. Their deaths shakes up Ippo but it motivates him further. At first he's sad but he finally starts expressing feeling for Kumi.

Ippo smashes and Kumi is pregnant and this makes Ippo even more focused. He works himself back up the world rankings and finally fights Ricardo or Sendo, whoever has the title.

Win or lose Ippo is satisfied and becomes a family man. Takamura gets more titles and retires after getting bored. He becomes an alcoholic from the deaths of his friends. Woli fights Volg and gets his head taken clean off.

The end!

Gantz: O is on Netflix since 2 weeks. Watch it. It's an amazing nostalgia trip. Blood, gore, sex, monsters. As a standalone movie it lacks the depth and substance of Gantz but it's a great addition for fans of the source material and an amazing action movie for those who aren't.

I still can't get over how Gantz introduced vampires, had them kill one of the main cast then basically just vanish out of the plot.

Anyone did read the first chapter of Dr. Stone? Looks interesting for now, but I can't help but think it will end up like those generic mangas.

I like Boichi's stuff like Sun-Ken Rock so I checked it out. Seems interesting. Bromance 10/10.
