Andrew Tate arrested

Juxtaposition of Tate in public media interviews saying he only taught Tiktok vs older private streams where he talks about OnlyFans and how he tricked girls and stole from them.

This video perfectly sums up how much a POS, gaslighting, creepish psychopath Tate is. The fact that this gerbil looking motherfucker with the charm of a rock has become so successful reflects badly on society. So many desperate and lonely people out there who are used/abused by scum like this because they don't love themselves, men and women both. It's sad really.

He admitted a relationship with a minor on tape. 15 years old.

EDIT: Just checked and girl was Slovakian and the age of consent there is 15. Eww wtf.

His brother is on tape saying he likes having sex with virgin teenagers.

We don't know if they're criminals, but we know they're fucking creeps.

100% agree man. That this guy is as popular as he is has got to be a canary in the coalmine. It's deeply troubling.anyone could look up to him.

Gross he reminds me of those creeps that move/vacation where the age of consent is absurdly low, then get offended and hid behind the I didn’t do anything illegal in that country shield.

How do they feel?
Like they cannot be masculine at all. At least the way men from the past could. It is somehow wrong to feel the way they do. They are competitive, argumentative, and many other traits that young men always had. Now, it is seen as wrong, and criticized, but that is the way most men have always been.

This is what I hear and see, being around young boys/men as much as I am because of my sons and nephews, alongside their friends. Doesn't make it universal though, so I am open to being wrong. There is a serious disconnect though, that is for sure, and to deny it is simply burying your head in the sand and hoping it works itself out.

Andrew Tate and Hitler are both getting a lot of love these days.

"He also said some really good things too"
It's like "yeah but can't you find those good things not also attached to a tumor?"

There is genuine evil afoot in the world right now.

These kinds of villains getting love and appreciation, similar characters invented and romanticized in film, deep distrust of each other and institutions, deep division, alternative facts touted confidently and brazenly, a rejection of enlightenment values, a crisis of meaning and the nihilism that generates, sexual perversion on the rise (I think so at least), pornography mentioned regularly even on television shows not targeting only adults, the spell of materialism, deep and profound corruption across the board from Wall Street to Washington DC, people looking to strong men to fix it all .. Conspiracy theories that offer easy simple explanations as a thumb to suck to quell the fear and anxiety of a complex out of control and uncertain world etc etc.

The crisis of meaning is THE issue from which the rest stems and nobody even knows it's happening or sees it for what it is. We have lost the way... again.

I see your point but it's not the root of the problem. But it is a symptom of the deeper problem.

The root is the crisis of meaning. Humanity has basically always lived and died under a unifying spiritual narrative (except during transition periods where new narratives were introduced) that offered up meaningful living and challenging ideals to strive for. And society has always promoted and rewarded those values and ideals although imperfectly. This gave everyone a predictable pathway to be valued in a society (with lots of caveats that need to be worked out over time and improved upon).

That has all but been lost. We have thrown the baby out with the bathwater and replaced it with nothing at all. In its wake is a lacking vision on how to live and be valuable in society.

The present hyper focus on the masculine by some scholars is an imperfect attempt to bring meaning back to people but it needs to be included accurately in a larger context of meaning... Kind of like Jesus/christianity did who is/was as strong as can be and as soft and loving as can be too. What is needed is a return to bona fide spiritual paths that bring human beings into full development.

There are other suitable examples than Jesus also obviously.

Enlightenment values are what's led to nihilism, no?

Yeah, I am not so sure because the other gender isn't dealing with the same issue. They aren't being told that inherent female qualities are wrong. For sure the lack of meaning is an issue too, and maybe a bigger one overall, but that alone isn't the reason guys like Tate got a following, and that is what I am speaking of. It is because he is saying it is ok to feel a certain way. It is NOT wrong to feel these masculine traits and have these masculine feelings. Though he packages it up with horrible advice too, and that is a big cause for concern. Not to mention that he himself is quite a shitty person himself, but we generally overlook bad traits and advice as long as the messenger is also saying things we want to hear.

Again, you're just getting really specific about a problem that is real, but it's just your personal issue that you see... what I'm talking about is an underlying issue that is causing problems for both sexes but in very different ways.

I am in no way denying the problems that men are facing right now. It is real and I've listened to and read a lot about it.

As for Andrew Tate, he is a perfect example of a kind of villain and despicable rapist woman abuser and sex trafficker who could never get a foothold in the public eye if we hadn't lost meaning already. A whole generation of men has to have lost the way completely to listen to a person like Tate.

Tate is a perfect example of the kind of person who can get a foothold in the minds of human beings only after so much has already been lost.

What personal issue?

Then what is the flip side equivalent since it is a bigger issue with meaning, so women should have some version of this if it stems from meaning

I dont think he is unique at all, as there are these types who gain followings based on many different issues. He is just attached to men’s rights.

You might want to do some research man.

First of all, there doesn't have to be an exact equivalent, but to pretend that women are not struggling with meaning, giving up on the idea of relationships, and overall experiencing deep unhappiness in this new world is wrong.
