Anderson Silva's Most Impressive Victory?

I'd go with the Forrest fight, not because he beat him but how he did it.

Other fights that crossed my mind before I made my pick were Franklin I, Henderson and Belfort.

went with Hendo

lost the first due to top control then came back in the second to stuff all off Hendo's TDs and hurt him on the feet en route to a nice sub victory

Forrest is an extremely close second, but I find Hendo > Forrest so I find the Hendo fight more impressive

Hendo is his most impressive based on how good he is. Don't know why you didn't group the Sonnens together.

I said Forrest but I'm surprised Chael II wasn't given it's own category or that more people didn't pick it. AS was under immense pressure that fight, got dominated 1st rd, came out 2nd rd and was perfect defensively before being brutally punishing offensively.

One of his best IMO.

I coulda/shoulda. The second one wasn't as impressive as the first (to me), but it still was very impressive.

But the fight itself was underwhelming. The spinning backfist, etc.

Want to say Griffin but, Okami takes it for me. Once Okami knew he couldn't do nothing in the end of the first Okami broke down. You knew it was over Okami was literally a deer in the headlights with nowhere to go.

No excuses for Hendo...

Anderson took his back, beat the crap out of him, and finished him...It was the single most impressive thing he's ever done in his career because that was just about the very last thing anyone expected to happen.
Hold the phone, you just gave Anderson some props...might have to edit that post.:)

Good choices, I think that you are also right when you say that his wins against Ace are overlooked. Rich had basically came in there, cleaned out the division, but when Anderson beat him (and then again, in Cincinnati for goodness sakes), no one had really expected that to happen.

It's Ace for me. The way he fucking destroyed the champ was nuts. I didn't see that coming at all.

The most dangerous fighter he has faced is Vitor, and he KO'd him via frontkick to the face.

Dan Henderson, it looked like he could have KO'ed Dan if he didn't go for the sub.

imo his most impressive victory was Sonnen 1. Got rocked and knocked down in the 1st, and then dominated til he got that lucky triangle in the 5th. Showed that he never gives up in a fight no matter how far behind he is

Yeah it was lucky he managed to cut off the blood supply to Sonnens head somehow.
