Biden was confirmed to have documents and then returned them without fuss. Same thing with Pence. It's not unusual for former Presidents and Vice Presidents to have some of this stuff.

What's unusual is what Trump did.

Trump repeatedly denied having them, then when he finally admitted it he still refused to turn them over and eventually only turned over some of them, and then was finally raided to recover the last of them. In between he had his goons move them around to hide them from the authorities and had them flood the basement to destroy the camera system. Also these were SCIF documents, basically the highest level classification, and the stuff Biden had was much more mundane.
