Elections And Another One Bites The Dust: Bloomberg OUT ***UPDATE*** Bloomberg now IN!!!

Agree with this take

I get that it's Twitter, but could the guy at least explain why he thinks that? I hate how people make these predictions with no argument behind them and try to act like they're being smart and mysterious instead of just guessing.

Because Yglesias perceives Biden supporters to be more likely to flip to Bloomberg than supporters of other candidates like Warren/Sanders. I agree with Yglesias.

Did he say that somewhere or are you inferring that?

Jack does this stuff. He makes nebulous predicting where he just implies his reasoning so that if he turns out to be wrong he can wriggle out of admitting it.

Inferring. I'm confident that's what he meant. He's not a dumb guy and it's a pretty obvious conclusion.

"Delusions" would be about right. I don't even know why these guys get involved in this shit in the first place, and that includes Trump. Nice fancy life, and all of a sudden something hits them and they think "I want to be scrutinized by every person on Earth, and have my life turned upside down."

I don't get it. Reminds me of that Danial Plainview speech in "There Will Be Blood"...

"I have this competition in me..."

More like this one.

I'm sure you're right, but if his prediction turns out to be wrong and you try to hold him to it... 'Where did I say that?' Etc etc etc.

He originally said he wouldn't run if Biden did. Maybe he no longer is confident in Biden being able to win?

Honestly, if that's his reasoning, he's right. None of the current crop have a chance. Maybe he is the one Dem grounded enough in reality to see it.

The time is now to get a proper candidate. They can't wait until after the primary to realize they are sitting ducks again.

I think Bloomberg has a much better electability argument than Biden. If I were Trump, I would be much more concerned about the former than the latter.

Ugh saw his platform on cmbc.com guy is a nanny state weirdo. I also don't like how he, or any incredibly rich people can just throw money at campaigns and change election outcomes via $$. Guy is old and he is a loon. Why can't a young reasonable person roll up?

Don't like Bloomberg who switches parties almost as much as Trump does. It will be like voting for Kang or Kodos. Trump is worse of the two in this case
Bloomberg is far worse. Guy is deep into nanny nonsense. He's also a hypocrite. He preaches environmental and fair same sized housing for all, yet he doesn't live by his rules at all

Who do you think likely Bloomberg supporters currently back?

How sad is the Democratic primary field, when this guy thinks he can beat them? Steyer is one thing. It's a passion project for him. This guy is all "Ahhh, why not? I got nothing better to do."

Correct in some ways Tom is really a good guy who feels like he could make a difference and I think of Bloomberg the same way. But they are both moderates and right now nether side wants a moderate running the country and the other they are both billionaires. The funny thing is people don't think of Trump the same way as they think of Tom Steyer yet Tom lives on a farm and raises cattle now that he has left Wall Street very different then the way President Trump leads his life.

Description
Michael Rubens Bloomberg KBE is an American businessman, politician, author, and philanthropist. As of November 2019, his net worth was estimated at $53 billion, making him the 9th richest person in the United States and the 14th richest person in the world. Mike so rich he could hire President Trump to be his limo driver.

MSNBC Bloomberg worth 53 trillion dollars lol. Who runs these networks.

Finally, a president who will truly put isreal and the globalists first.

wars for everyone! State control of ever aspect of life! Mass immigration and no borders!

Trump already does that cucky McCuckface

I would be surprised if he tops a 2% average in the polls.

Yeah I really don't know who Bloomberg appeals to outside of NYC
Coastal libs seem warmer to him than d's Blasio right? I'm not sure on that. But yeah, not a huge appeal getting in this late. Would have had to start way earlier.
