Social Anarchy in Venice Beach

Maybe they should create some jobs by paying people to clean that shit up.
 
When I lived in Vancouver there is the Downtown Eastside juncture called Main and Hastings. The police have a policy of "containment" for all the human fuckery within that area. You get some leakage onto Commercial Drive or the West End, but the majority of Sranc stay within the invisible lines.

It's like walking into nasty filfty streaked bathroom in some seedy bar, but then you realize the bathroom is an entire city block.

I've never seen anything like it in North America. I wonder how Venice Beach compares.
 
the only logical solution here is to inject the hobos with the feces

San Fran pays six figures per man to multiple crews to drive around in trucks in hazmat suits to shovel and pressure wash shit off the sidewalks and streets and from in the parks. Isn't that awesome? In a civilized society, right?

Fuck those fucking fucks. They should shoot people defecating on the sidewalks or streets.

I've seen some crazy videos of that area including massive like farmer's markets with all stolen goods. They need to send Ricky and Julian in there with their guns to clean things up.

The band was also managed by Malcolm McLaren a fashion designer who used the band to sell punk fashion at his boutique. The Sex Pistols were more of a fashion statement than anything political. It is very similar to what we are seeing now with activism and protest being very fashionable, corporate and mostly meaningless.
 
Venice is known for their junkies/homeless/crazies he should have known that when he moved there if he doesn't like it then why doesn't he just fucking move somewhere else like a rich gated suburb

He just got older. People tend to be all lefty and revolutionary - or pretend to be :p - when cosseted by youthful ignorance of true cost of things and privilige of thus far having had everything provided for them, and then they get more bourgeois and conservative as they mature, gain real world experience and having actually had to work for a living.
