Look at my Join date. I followed this sport since Pride /UFC 40s The fact is there is a undisputed Goat and my opinion has non changed in years. It's Jon Jones. He crushed the best div in the UFC and has never lost. Jon Jones would beat any human that has existed under 230lbs. We might be able to go further he thar too.. Perfect fighter and at his Apex just unbeatable.

I seen the Fedora/GSP/BJs/Khabibs/Andersons but this guy is something different. PS Khabib is not as good as GSP and believe me one of the greatest most enjoyable fights was when he bear Connor. I being unbiased here.


I follow boxing as well. Francis is doing a boxing decision. He knows that Jon is a horrific match up for him. He will lose his money making capabilities when he gets make to look like a Mediocre fighter. So he ran to do Mickey mouse fights. Generally this would make me upset but we know the winner. Jones in the real champ. They offered Francis enogh and be bailed. Reminds me Fedor with M1 Global. Missed out on all time HW fights due to him going to Stirkeforce. Cain Carwin and Leaner...

while I don't know who would truly win between Jon and francis....I will say this: the fight with Gagne was suspect and I said in prior posts that it would look the way it did....the UFC needed Jon to win and they made sure that he did win (in only the way the UFC can LOL),.... gane was in on it too....he got paid ....and took no damage LOL come on man open your eyes

Fedor will be always irrelevant in the discussion for 2 reasons :

- Never fought under the same conditions than Jon Jones = USADA.

Pretty silly to call him "unbeatable" when he has several razor thin decisions over good but not stellar competition.

The main difference between him and the other guys with a wrestling base is he's long and can kick, where nearly everyone else with a wrestling background just throws punches.

Other than Rashad's lone kick ko against a guy with a losing record, he wasn't much of a kicker, Randy, Rampage, Koscheck, Weidman, Brock, Chael, Bader, DC, Hendricks, Coleman, Lindland, Hendo, Stipe, even Cain and Khabib, like none of them were proficient kickers, and the guys who are good kickers are usually bad wrestlers.

We will never know what if anything GSP took unfortunately. He did have the record for most consecutive rounds won, I can see why people would say him as greatest ever...for me though Anderson and Khabib should be ahead of him. Anderson got popped after the gruesome injury and probably was taking for that reason. Noone dominated like he did! Khabib just plain ran through everyone. People can argue that he did not have enough fights in the UFC to warrant a place in the discussion.
