As I said in another thread Jones popped for steroids, Fedor never did and that is a fact however way you look at it. If Jones never popped came up to Heavyweight 10 years ago when there were fighters of a much better quality than today dismantled them and retired or even kept on fighting and took losses far out his prime. Then I would agree yes he was. I know all that everyone is or were on steroids concept but the fact is Jones can even keep pulsing ffs lol. Why can't we all just have our own GOAT and not argue amongst ourselves all the time. I have been lurking here for about 20 years and this GOAT thing that keeps getting thrown around is silly and you WILL NOT change the fans of certain fighters but that is fine, you have your GOAT, i'll have mine, let the next guy have theirs and talk about something different or bring new material. The only ever time I have seen anything so ludicrous as people hating each other and throwing playground insults to each other is amongst Messi/Ronaldo fans. I am in awe of all the GOATS(Fedor, Jones, GSP, Silva, MM, Aldo, Khabib etc) and love watching them all. Jones really surprised me last night done what he say he was going to do and that really shocked me how he did it so easy. Well done on him, hope he has found peace in his life and heart and keeps out of trouble because he isn't a young man anymore.

Whether they like it or not, Jones has fought on the biggest stage in the MMA world for like 10 years or whatever, won the 205 belt and defended multiple times, has wins over top light heavyweights - also a win against the guy who has beaten Fedor twice. Jones has also beaten a couple top guys from Pride, which was apparently the bigger stage than UFC which I don't agree with but it is what it is. Now Jones has just beaten the guy who many thought was gonna rule heavyweight once Francis left. Personally I don't think Fedor is as great as many say he is - he never fought in the UFC and I think that takes him out of the goat conversation.

Great win for Jones and happy he's made his return and proved many doubters wrong

Fedor was far more dominant and viscous in his fights. Also, Fedor's entire career was Heavyweight (the toughest division). Jones only has one Heavyweight fight.

Jones will never be at Fedor's level.

The toughest division across all MMA since its inception has always been the LW division. Fedor may have had has entire at Heavyweight, but he also fought a lot of fighters who never belong in the same ring as him, Fedor fans are living off his wins of Noguiera, Cro Cop & a 40yr old Mark Coleman.

Fedor is not the GOAT, Jon Jones consistently fought nothing but top 10 competition & is undefeated. Fedor At a younger age than as Jones is now was losing when constantly was fighting top competition, one those was against a natural 185lb fighter.
