GSP beat the undisputed lineal no1 MW when he moved up

Jon beat a random contender who was no. 3 at best behind Francis and Stipe. He still isnt the lineal champ or best at the weight.
 
Love that GSP was a cherry picker when he fought Bisping, who is clearly much better than Gane is as an MMA fighter

But Jon beating Gane is the most amazing thing ever, even though Gane was never champion.

Bisping beat the true champ at MW.

Gane is good, I didnt think his ground game was so terrible. I thought he could defend the TD better than he did.

Jon Jones is a paper champ TBH.
 
100% agree. GSP is the best WW ever but Jones cemented himself as the sports GOAT.

My sentimental favorite will always be Fedor but I can't deny Jones any longer from a resume standpoint.
 
WW will always be more competitive and harder than LHW and HW to be GOATed in.

Even without the Jon asterisk, GSP's reign is the more difficult route to achieve. It's really hard to say if Jon's win record overshadow a harder schedule.
 
Dude will always have an asterisk next to his name because of the PEDs. GSP never popped….

Except for his layup against Bisping, GSP didn't fight in the USADA era.
 
Gsp as the goat is news to me and I'm Canadian.

If Usman beats Leon then beats Katzman, he will be the ww goat.

GSP doesn't run over pregnant women...
GSP also won 2 belts in 2 different weight classes, all while still maintaining the above...

GSP is the GOAT.
 
Only Jon Jones will know for sure if using PED’s was worth it in the end. Only Jon will know if he could have won every one of his fights with or without the extra help. I think he’s one of the best but that’s the problem with testing positive as a fight fan. He leaves us with unanswered questions. He leaves doubts that will always haunt his record.

lets not pretend that GSP beat Bisping for the title, who at the moment was barely top 5 in the division skillwise, GSP ducked Whittaker so hard
