All Time GOAT poll

Dana is known for his business practices, and Fedor want none of it.

Agreed. He ducked and went on a 3 fight losing streak all by STOPPAGES including a rd 1koby Natty mw Henderson. The same Henderson who couldn't go two full rds with Silva without getting dropped and strangled.

A significant portion of Fedors resume is can crushing Zulu, Choi, etc.

That's during his retirement days, one and done fight to make a quick cash.

And 0 defenses.

Became boring after Sera made him tap to strikes.

Goat status due to never popping but ducking Silva and fight Bispingwith one eye is telling + ducking the mw division thereafter.

You're welcome to express your opinion my friend.

Silva said he could make 170 and would do it... GSP after being asked about it said he would take any challenger in his weight class and that he literally could not say no. Then Silva said again he wanted a catch weight...prob cause he was too roided up to lose the weight. So really Silva ducked GSP, after calling him out.

I’m shocked that anderoid Silva and asterisk jones has so many votes, considering they required performance enhancing drugs to compete…

Now, before I get chewed out by all the Silva and Fedor fans, hear me out.

I'm a huge fan of Fedor and Anderson, and I see that a lot of people include them as part of the top 5 GOATs or the mount rushmore of MMA...

But, I think being a contender for GOAT has to be a reflection on your entire career. While Fedor was great at one point in his career, he also sucks balls at the end of it, same with Anderson.

A lot of people don't consider Khabib to be part of the GOAT conversation because he left too soon, and I agree, it should be a reflection of your entire career and Khabib's wasn't long enough, but if it's too long, it should also negatively affect your legacy.

How can you be considered GOAT if you are losing to mediocre fighters towards the end of your career again and again?

Jones, GSP, DJ, Cejudo, and Aldo, Top 5 GOAT.

I don't think you should be penalized for hanging on too long when we all know a fighter is clearly past it. Almost everyone does it.

To me its all about what you are able to do when you are in your prime or close to it. Its about the performances you put on, how many guys you can beat, what kind of streak or run you can put together, how many titles you can win, and what your record looks like at your peak.

Khabib was definitely on his way but he quit too soon to really be in the discussion.

Three of the people in your list are still competing, so you can't know what their entire career looks like.

I wish white belts were still banned from making threads.

Some fighters can have relatively short primes though. If you are just looking at a fighter at their peak, you can open the discussion to a lot of people.

Cejudo has what? 2 title defenses, 2 or 3 big wins, and no sustained run of dominance. Not GOAT material.
