Anderson shouldn’t be on the list either tbh although he has got so little votes it probably doesn’t make a difference
 
GSP might be considered goat on paper, but he ducked Anderson Silva, who was considered the p4p best fighter in the world during his legendary win streak in the UFC.

I personally consider Fedor, Jones, Silva, & Aldo above GSP.
 
Crazy how low Anderson is. 10 years ago this place was all about Anderson-GSP-Fedor for this discussion.

Fedor haters: Bad quality of opposition
GSP haters: Doesn't finish fights and is terrified of the superfight with Anderson
Anderson haters: He lost to some bums in japan before coming to the UFC.

Fast forward 10 years and most of Anderson fans have obviously jumped ship to either GSP or Jones. I wonder why, Anderson is adding losses to his career, but so is Fedor and it doesnt seem to matter for him. Anderson beat more ranked fighters than Jones and Fedor and was ranked P4P number 1 the mayority of the time of GSP's reign.

Poor Anderson. History has forgotten him :/

The problem with this mindset is that you are giving GSP credit for not competing... Let me say that again. GSP has literally increased his stock value in your eyes by not fighting at all... Not winning. By not even competing... That is absurd.

Please tell me all the other sports on this earth where an individual or team not competing is considered a good thing.

Where I do give him credit on, is winning.

He beat every fighter he ever fought, which goes a pretty long way in determining GOAT.

Jones is running 3rd All-Time right now, amidst a PED scandal. Not only is he relevant despite the PED's, I think you are going to be shocked when you realize that every title fight he wins is going to act to push him higher over time.
