There's weight classes for a reason. If he outweighs his opponents he's obviously a bigger size.

How in any way is it logical? He has one of the smallest frames in LHW let alone HW, and you're going to act like he's bigger than guys like Gustafsson, Jones, Rumble, etc because he has some extra body fat? You're nuts dude.

Why do wins like dan hardy, thiago alves, josh koscheck x2, LW bj Penn, nick Diaz and matt serra considered all.time great wins? Bj is a legend but at that time he was a LW.

Georges has literally only three great wins and all of them decisions. Fitch, sheilds and condit. That's his body of work. At least when Fedor and Anderson fought lower tier comp in their prime they destroyed them. You think a 2009 Andy would have went to a 5 round decision with a mW Dan hardy? Same with a 2004 Fedor. This is an absolute joke that gsp fans dare to compare the greatness of Jones Anderson and Fedor with Georges. Gsp isn't on their level.

I voted Fedor, but I don't need to denigrate gsp's record to do so.

Leaving Hughes off that list is ridiculous. Gsp has a ton of great wins and is easily #2.

Fedor was just much more dominant and had a longer reign. Both great careers, but I give Fedor the edge.

Penn was never going to be in GOAT discussion. And that was due to losses he had during his prime. It was due to his bad cardio even during his prime. Best LW ever? Maybe. but best ever no ones put him in the discussion for a reason even during his prime.

Lol you can't be serious... Most Silva and Jones fans would cut their limp dicks off before they'd vote GSP in a GOAT poll, there is literally no greater dichotomy among fan bases. That's why the hardcore Silva and Jones fangirls almost always happen to be Tyron Woodley "fans". The fact GSP wins this poll despite the unbelievable amount of hate he gets is a testament to his career, Fedor is a much more beloved figure on sherdog.

Don't overthink this poll so much lol. This time fans narrowly pick GSP as the GOAT, just deal with it. If Fedor comes back to get a another big win he will edge out GSP next time I guarantee it. It's the undecideds that have gone back and forth the last two years between GSP and Fedor.. they are the ones swinging it.

Jon is my personal vote for GOAT, as he is the most dominant fighter with the best win resume ever. But the scandal makes me go to GSP. Dominant, classy, unbeatable in most fights.

Yeah Penn is one of the most talented ever and was talked about as amazing but the best ever discussion went away quick when people started seeing he gassing all the time.

I voted for GSP. He was my favorite fighter (fanboy). I think any people saying he was boring didn't start watching until later in his career after the Matt Serra loss. He had many great entertaining fights before then and a few after that.

I think Jones would have a strong argument if he wasn't clearly cheating. But GSP, Fedor, Silva, Aldo, Jones and even Mouse. I can understand any of those picks.
