All Time GOAT poll

Why is there only 1 fighter on the list being fedor that did most his legendary fights outside ufc? What about Wanderleis pridefc run? He should be on the list!

IMO, Jones lost his last 2 fights . GSP lost his last fight to Hendrix so bad he vacated the WW title to never return for a mandatory rematch. The only non defeated guy to never take damage is Khabib. If Fedor retired 10 years ago it would definitely have been him.

Jon Jones : started his pro MMA career at 20 years old and became an UFC champion at 23 years old.

Khabib : started his pro MMA career at 19 years old and became an UFC champion at 29 years old.

Not completely comparable since one was born in the USA, but still interesting.

Being undefeated and being a long time champ would make Khabib a lock..
But he is missing the other piece, and that is a really big piece..

Jones would have the GOAT talk on lock if NOT for the roids..

mer mer mer mer khabib lost to tibau

but Jones still won against Reyes?

I don’t disagree with your logic but some champions get a shot at the belt on their first fight in the UFC at that weight class (Conor , Cejudo, ) some get it on their second fight ( Anderson, Brock, Chandler) and others get it with no fights in the UFC except winning the TUF season 4 - Serra. Khabib didn’t get a shot until his 10 th UFC fight and was undefeated at 25-0. He had to work a lot harder and wait a lot longer for his shot and with 9 years undefeated in the UFC puts him firmly in the conversation, IMO.

My list is

GSP
ANDERSON SILVA
FEDOR
JON JONES
BJ PENN
MATT HUGHES
JOSE ALDO

To me the GOAT is not just the best/most dominant champion of all time, but also the most skilled. Disregarding weight classes, the question is if everyone weighed the same who come out on top. To me that goes to Demetrius Johnson, there was nothing he couldn’t do, the only flack against him was maybe his lack of completion since he fought at such a light weight.

The only legit example you used to support your case is Brock, who is obviously an exception being a freak athlete HW and WWE superstar.

The rest had a much, much, much more legit career pre-UFC than Khabib, and/or as good if not better run in UFC prior to get the tittle shot

This was a very close multiway race until GSP-Bisping

You mean the guy who didnt even manage to get a tittle shot during the looong Silva's reign at MW, being on his prime and with two functional eyes, unlike when he fought GSP?

Let me guess, at the same time you also pretend Silva reigned in a weak MW division, uh?

This is such a stupid take.
DJ is probably the most skilled fighter ever, but there are obviously ton of manlets way way more skilled with a basketball than the guys in the NBA so what?

No one want to comment on this? You guys ride fighters when they are hyped up until the next hype comes around. Wand went about 4 years unbeaten in PrideFC the best organization to date with the best rule set. Everyone was a Wand fan then now you don't even mention the dude.
