All Time GOAT poll

Khabib is disqualified due to lack of exciting finishes, huge lack of big wins other than drunk Conor, pre prime Pourier and journeyman Gaethje,
.
Only one who should be disqualified is Conor due to cheating with more than 3 different methods in Khabib fight. 12-6 elbows, illegal knee to the head of the down opponent, multiple fence grabs, and multiple short grabs and glove grabs of his opponent, and Khabib still dominated Conor in the entire fight and finished Conor in the fourth round despite the numerous cheatings.

He dominated Poirier in the entire fight, never lost a round to him, finished him in the third.

He finished Gaethje in the second round, despite Khabib having a broken toe shortly before the fight. That was Gaethje's first submission loss.

He dominated Prime RDA in the entire fight, never lost a round.

He is undefeated, barely lost a round, never even got rocked or bled.

whilst ducking Ferguson before he declined.
.

Tony Ferguson pulled out from UFC 223, not Khabib, so Khabib fought Al Iaquinta and dominated Al in the entire fight, didn't lose any round. Then Ferguson got TKOed by Gaethje, so Gaethje fought with Khabib instead. It's Tony's problem when he pulled out from the title fight in UFC 223, then lost to Gaethje in UFC 249, so Gaethje got the title shot instead.
Natural welterweight who starves himself so he can leg hug against midget strikers with no ground game.

.
Khabib is a natural lightweight. If he has trouble with making the weight then that should be for other reasons, not because of his size. Khabib is not even top 5 biggest lightweights in UFC.

Khabib obv

inside and outside the cage like or not he did what he said he was going to do in 2015 retire undefeated

he made tap the best, he knocked down one of the best striker and made him tap the same fight

never cheated, never bled, knocked down, dominated and only lost 1-2 rounds in 29 fights

there is no debate about it find what you want i dont see any reason that why he should not be the goat no one has achieve lot of things he did

If this poll ever puts Jones or anyone else that isn’t Fedor over GSP one day, that’s the day the universe is telling me sherdog has gone full retard and it’s time to leave for good. But it seems that there’s still a glimmer of hope that not everyone in here is fucking stupid

gsp avoided fighting to win on points. fedor fought in the hardest way possible. to fight to finish. fedor is the goat. gsp is a glorified point fighter.

GSP fought the who's who of his division and a bunch of living legends

Fedor fought good fighters but mostly unranked cans and circus freaks

1- GSP

2- Fedor

the poll was made before khabib made tap Poirier and Gaethje if we consider that it wasn't a debate before these wins

He simply doesn't have enough wins in title fights to be in the GOAT Talk...

IMO..

People fortieth l forget how dominant Silva was. Dana would get mad when he didn't finish opponents. He was unstoppable and I'll forever hate Weidman, but it was probably the drug testing that changed the game.

It's a tough call. They are typically interchangeable at #3-4 for me.

Well, if I actually think about it, it's not such a tough call. GSP definitely has more/better accomplishments, more records, and consistently fought better competition, so it only makes sense that he'd be ranked higher.

GSP no question.

2 division champ, 9 title defences, avenged ALL his losses in brutal fashion.

And unlike Fedor, GSP had to fight the toughest challenge every time out. And before any Fedor nuthuggers try to defend his opposition, remember this: Fedor only defended his Pride HW title THREE TIMES. That means Pride only deemed his opponent worthy of a title shot 3 times. And one of those defences was against a Mark Hunt coming off a 2 minute loss to Josh Barnett.

Fedor shouldn't be considered in the top 5 of all time, let alone #1.

Fedor, Gsp and Khabib are my picks. In that order.
Anderson and Jones could have been no 3 & 4 respectively but they committed the ultimate sacrilege that make them automatically ineligible to be on that list.

Fedor is the no1 for me.
But if you have GSP as no1 I usually won't discuss that as I think there are different angles to that question. Therefor there are different answers, ones that don't involve either also.
It's not just about accomplishments, that's just the simplified version of the GOAT conversation.

Fedor because of his style. GSP is amazing but I can't label someone who fundamentally utilized point fighting strategies as the GOAT (in any combat sport).
