You might try watching the trailer before bitching.

It shows clearly that the space station is in orbit of an already well established and inhabited colony. And as someone else already pointed out, there absolutely no indication that this bunch of 20-somethings is playing anything other than a bunch of 20-somethings.

Looks like what we want out of a Alien movie. The Evil Dead reboot this guy did was pretty brutal, it should be fun to see what he can do with this. Definitely will check this out in theaters.
