Daniel Cormier reveals that the Alex Pereira camp let the UFC know that they may pull out of #UFC307 before heading to Salt Lake City. This would have resulted in Pennington vs Pena being the main-event. “The UFC said to him ‘That would suck, but let us know how it goes. We have two title fights, we’ll elevate one if that’s what we need to do’.”

Jordan has a Wikipedia page on the flu game. Need one for Alex flu fight. Let's see.. create new page ..yes.

Hands down Fighter of the Year
Honestly the most exciting fighter i have seen in mma.. at least in terms of champions. Even his walk to the cage reminds me of prime Tyson with the Aura he has there. 4 title fights in 11 months all brutal KO wins. I csnt even remember another fighter doing that. maybe Fedor in Pride but who else?

I'm 7 months he has as many title fight Kos as Conors career.

Probably Prime Chuck in terms of you knew you couldn't miss a fight...

lol chill out... not the first time someone has fought with an injury or sickness

On the contrary, it's the first time a Champion has
  1. Defended his title 3x in less than 6 months;
  2. One of which was on short-notice;
  3. Twice of which while injured and/or ill, and
  4. KO'd everyone in the process.
Alex Pereira is in a class by himself.

He KO'd 2 of his opponents last 2 opponents within 2 rounds so yeah, a quick turn around would be expected... it says more about his KO abilities then anything else and his willingness to stay active

It was pretty obvious that something was wrong with him. He looked really weak in the fight. A healthy Pereira would've stopped Rountree in the first round.

It says a lot more than just that, dumb ass.

Jones got an easy submission win over Gane in March of 2023 — and hasn't fought in nearly 2 years.

3 years before that, was his struggle with Reyes in February of 2020.

He got injured, he's old and he kept getting busted for steroids...
