Most overrated fight ever. If not for the last 10 seconds most sherdoggers would be crying and complaining.

The fight was meh. It was a one sided pointfighting beatdown with Justin landing a couple of shots here and there.

Oh stop it, even without the eye pokes Holloway would have dominated Gaethje, Gaethje striking technique is horrible, he has power that’s it’s. Topuria is 10x the striker Gaethje is. Keep crying about the loss though and say whatever helps you sleep at night. Everyone here with a brain already could see Holloway was stylistic bad matchup for Gaethje, people were just too hung up on believing Holloway was Ferguson because of similar tattoos I guess.

I agree that it wasn't FOTY, but I think you are swinging too far in the other direction. It definitely wasn't meh. It was very high output and high tension with multiple big moments outside of the KO.
 
Max vs Gaethje was the moment of the year. Maybe the craziest moment in MMA history. Alex vs Hill was cool af but it was completely secondary in the post-UFC300 talk to the Max KO.

Many great FOTY candidates. Mine goes to DDP vs Izzy.

Alex or Ilia being Fighter OTY is fine, I lean Alex.

That's horseshit. The number one MOMENT has to be Max/Justin. Easily. It's the biggest no-brainer, like in 2022 when Leon beat Kamaru with the kick.
