Black guy in the back absolutely dumbfounded by this impossible collision of Giga Chads. He's like,"Aren't there supposed to be only 1 of them in every universe!!?"What?!?!

Possum trap got him. He’s huge for 205 I can’t believe Izzy slept him.
No, it's the literal opposite.the thing is, is his chin going to struggle against those bigger hitters? he already looked much more tame vs Jan then he ever did at 185lbs. at 185lbs he was the hammer and everyone else was the nail and you could see that play out in almost all of his UFC fights. against Jan it didn't really look like he had the superior firepower the way it did at 185lbs.

I feel like it's different with Alex because he's not remaining in the division and messing things up. He went up to 205 to compete, and if Strickland is at 185 there's no issue. With something like Merab and Aljo, there's an actual issue of meddling with the ranks due to friendship in the same divisionWouldn't fight strickland again? This is turning into the ultimate friendship championship

Dehydration makes a chin susceptible to cracking. Izzy 2 was the first time Alex was ever slept. He was more tame against Jan because Jan literally shot from the first 10 seconds, then gassed in the second round but is always a dangerous fight. Pereira stayed cool instead of rushing in to finish a guy he knows can spark guys in one hit even while back pedaling, even while gassed. Alex fought a good smart fight and showed improvement in his grappling, patience, and striking defense. He still poured damage into Jan and I thought he made it very clear he won that fight, if it went 5 rounds, he would have finished Jan without a doubt, he couldn't get off his stool at the end of the third.
Him vs Jiri will be a super fun fight and it's the most hyped i've been for one in a long time.

You know he fought at LHW in Glory, correct? He's taken shots from guys the same weight that can throw with much more power and precision than anyone in the UFC at LHW without ever getting sparked. Artem Vakhitov was a more dangerous striking matchup for Periera than anyone that has ever fought in the UFC. He didn't walk out and KO him, but he was certainly the hammer against Jan as he did more damage to Jan while Jan had back control on him than Jan did in the fight.Pereira not being dehydrated = better chin. Pereira not being dehydrated doesn't = can take LHW KO artist strikes better. he fought a good smart fight because he had to. like i said, in all of his fights at 185lbs he is CLEARLY the hammer and everyone else is the nail. at LHW, it is not so clear, evidenced by him not just walking Jan down and blowing him away like he's done to damn near everyone at MW.
i can agree it might be a fun fight. it almost might end very quickly for either guy.

If you think Izzy is a more dangerous striker than Vakhitov, we have nothing left to talk about.small gloves, he's older, grappling, and LHWs in MMA tend to be bigger than LHWs in kickboxing. all these things change everything. Gokhan Saki wasn't getting KO'd in Glory, stepped up to mid-carder Khalil Rountree and got completely smoked at his own game.
you're being really biased here. Vakhitov was more dangerous than anyone Pereira has fought in the UFC??? EVEN THE GUY WHO ENDED UP KNOCKING HIM OUT??? he didn't fight Jan like a hammer. a hammer does ONE thing, smashes nails. he didn't smash Jan. he beat him, and beat him convincingly but he fought a point fight instead of his usual bully style of searching for a KO. he HAD TO change his style because he knows LHWs hit harder.
