Alex Pereira KO’s Ankalaev in first round

I hope so but either way I hope the winner fights sooner then later. I cant stand these lazy champs. That was Alex best quality he was so active it made the sport for those 2 years. He kept it exciting thats why anyone who doesnt like him its real weird to me.

Nah I see an unmotivated Poatan losing worse than before. Possibly by finish.

Dude is one foot out the door with fighting, he’s 38, busy with filming for movies and partying at UFC events. He’s already won two belts and has nothing to prove. If he goes out there and smokes Ank I’d be stoked, but I don’t see that happening.

Big Uncle Eyev by finish

'Poatan' has wild predictions for every fight on planet earth, its always a very one sided fight as well that he predicts, usually ending in a brutal KO lol, most of the time it never happens but next day he is on to the next fight claiming to know for certain how it ends and it can only end one way lol.

People don't even bump his threads anymore when his predictions are always wrong because only so many threads of his you can keep bumping before they fill the entire first 10 pages

That's means a trilogy and I'm not interested but that would be cool. Maybe just a convincing decision so Ank can't argue

I just wonder how much Poatan cares about fighting anymore. He seems like he is busy living his best life which not usually conducive to winning in the cage.
Unfortunately that's it. All these guys were poor, some more than others. Paying 20k for main events made them fight often and risk more for the mighty bonus. Now they'll fight once or twice a year, tops. Pereira was an anomaly, a gift from the JBG. Unfortunately ageing gets us all. I'm happy for him and glad, but really wishing for one more.

This is an opportunity for Ank to make a statement and go after the T/KO later in the fight. He'll have the confidence of knowing he's unlikely to get Alex down, but constantly threatening grappling freezes Poatan up.

The first fight was a bit of a stinker with a lot of cage wall-stall minutes, but it certainly was effective. Alex had some decent leg kicks but Ank was the one who landed the meaningful punches and he cracked him clean several times. IMO this time around Ank is going to take more risks when he has a good moment and put it on Alex.

Dude is pushing 40, has a lot working against him in this rematch and Ank is world class, riding high on confidence. I'm going 60/40 Ank gets another W and obviously Poatan having a 40% chance of landing a KO is still a real threat.

I predict a depressing and anticlimactic finish of Pereira. Then all of Sherdog will make threads saying how Pereira was never good.

I see it the same except with Pereira losing a decision again.

We all know Pereirs had broken hand and diarrhea just days before their first bout. Still Pereira arguably won 3 rounds. This time Pereira pushes the pace and hurts Ankalaev badly. I can’t see Ankalaev making it into the secons round.
We all know really they were pissweak excuses as to why he lost. Arguably, he didnt win 3 rounds.
I doubt he wins this time either
