Thread title is wrong, as there is no third Godfather movie. ;)

Why ppl shit on part III ?
To begin with, Godfather is overrated af
You want a gangsters movie go watch Scorcesse catalogue

Part III is amusing, very good cast & performances, plus there is that fugly girl who is hoooot.

Scarface > Godfather

Much more fun and entertaining

Godfather I and II are classics. Part three was dogshit by comparison.

If we're talking about Gangster movies as a genre, Goodfellas by armbar. And if I had to choose which Pacino movie I'd watch, it would be Scarface.

Godfather was a subtle performance. Scarface was a performance on coke. He is always quoted for Scarface so I will say that. But Godfather(s) were the FAR superior films.

I could see going with Scarface. Pacino was kind of flat in Godfather. Godfather isn't great because of Pacino. It's great because of other variables.

Scarface might be the most inspiring movie I've ever seen. Makes me feel like taking risks.

Scarface by a country mile. Godfather is just flatout bad. I get grilled for this take but it was poopy screenwriting and the inexperienced directing. Scarface on the other hand has a great soundtrack, good for jogging to.
